I don't even know what came over me today, but I just felt like putting on a pretty dress and shoving my hair in a bun (which I suck at, so very pleased with the results!).  Of course I had to choose the time where my roots are the worst they've been in a while to put my hair up but que sera!  As you can see this outfit features a couple of designer items I stole from my mums wardrobe, how I wish mine could be nearly as glamorous - however for the moment I'll just have to settle for Primark over Prada!

Isn't this dress breathtaking!  I received it from Chi Chi a little while ago and due to me having a lot going on lately I haven't really had the time to take any outfit photos.  I finally got round to it though (obviously!) and I really like this outfit.  Unfortunately the dress is quite a large 10 so it's pretty big for me, and a little longer than I would like (hence why I hitched it up, badly) but I'm sure if the dress was the right size for me it would like lovely on!  I'm really considering cutting it up to make a bralet and skirt, but I'm worried I'll ruin it!

I did have a bit of trouble styling this dress, not gonna lie.  I'm not really used to wearing dresses that much, let alone fancy prom dresses! I think it works with the blazer because it adds a casual touch rather than being totally posh, and more of a retro feel, which obviously contrasts with my pink hair, haha!
