HOUNDSTOOTH & RED

NECKLACE* // THE LOST LANES
COAT* // PERSUNMALL
DRESS* // SHE LIKES
WATCH* // SHADE STATION
CLUTCH // LULU GUINNESS
HEELS* // SHELLYS LONDON
RINGS // BOHEMIAN CO, MARKET, RINGS & TINGS, MARKET, JANA REINHARDT, KUKEE

So with this awkward british half summer, half winter weather I thought this was a great outfit for a date night or going for some drinks with the girls.  I love the subtle shimmer the dress has to it and the contrast with the heavily patterned coat, then I thought I'd add a splash of colour with a slick of Russian Red and my mums Lulu clutch.

LET ME LIVE THAT FANTASY

Dress* // BANK
Clutch // Lulu Guinness
Shoes* // iKrush
Rings // Kukee*, SWAG*, market, market, Jana Reinhardt*, market
Lips // Mac 'Quite the Thing'

Today I'm dealing with writer's block so there won't be anything interesting to read here (not that there usually is haha!).  I wasn't sure on this dress at first but when I put it on I loved it - it fits me perfectly!  I love the caviar pattern, not something I've seen on a dress before and the pattern is so intricate.  I thought I'd carry on with the silver accent so slipped on my silver block heels and borrowed my mums incredible Lulu Guinness clutch, it's so perfect and I can't wait to take it out with me!

I'M KISSING YOU GOODBYE

Hat // Topshop
Bracelet* // Jon Richard
Necklace // DIY
Dress* // AX Paris
Bag // Lulu Guinness (mums!)
Shoes* // Shellys London
Rings // The Bohemian Co*, vintage, Thomas Sabo, Diamonfire, Rachael Sudlow

It's my birthday tomorrow weeeee!  I'm weirdly excited but not at the same time - I always build up my birthday to be amazing only to get disappointed because I set my expectations too high.  I was just asked what I was doing on wednesday by my mum - got my hopes up because I thought she was organising a birthday meal only to have her ask me if I wanted to be booked in for the flu jab she's having, ah.  I'm seeing Alex so I'm sure it'll be nice, it just sucks that all my friends work full time or have gone to uni!

Anyway enough complaining - lets move onto the outfit!  Yet again I have nabbed an item from my mothers wardrobe (no way could I afford my own Lulu!) and I think it brings the outfit together really nicely as it's quite basic if you take away the print.  I can imagine Twiggy wearing a dress like this back in the 60s, it's such an awesome print and is so on trend at the moment as everyone's going crazy over monochrome.  Oh and how could I forget the shoes?  These babies are from Shellys London who have just launched a huge new collection and I think they have taken over as my favourite shoe brand!  I love the shape of these so much and they're so easy to walk in!

Before I sign off, are any of you bloggers attending the Bleach London event tonight?  Tweet me if you are!

HEART SHAPED BRUISES

Dress* // Motel Rocks
Bracelet* // Native Feathers
Spike Damsels // Jeffrey Campbell
Clutch // Lulu Guinness
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, Native Feathers*, Regal Rose, Market stalls

I was meant to post this look on Valentines day (as I think it's all nice and Valentines-y) but I didn't have time unfortunately, but better late than never I guess!  I received this gorgeous dress from Motel Rocks and I'm head over heels in love with it.  It's totally on trend at the moment with everyone going crazy for monochrome and what's great about it is that I can wear it out or just as a day dress!  I wanted to accessorize simplistically, but with a splash of colour, so borrowed my mums Lulu Guinness lips clutch and think it goes so well, just wish I had one of my own!
