I tried out shooting in a different place for this set and I'm pretty happy with how the photos turned out!   A little while ago Urban Outfitters got in contact and asked me to style up a festival outfit so of course I couldn't refuse!  I actually wore this to Camden Rocks back in May but didn't have the chance to take photos, so am a little late posting!  I was so stoked to receive these shorts as UNIF are one of my all-time favourite brands but I've never bought anything from them - and so the collection begins.. (sorry bank balance!).

I'm obsessed with everything tapestry at the moment, whether it's bags, dresses, or these shorts; I think it's a great way to add a subtle print and pop of colour, and is way more exciting than basic denim shorts!  I kept it simple with a grey crop top (new fave basic) and lacy kimono, then topped off with huge glasses and a hat, which seems to be a common denominator with many of my outfits lately - it just makes everything so much more chic, sorry not sorry!

You may have seen this look a little while ago in my UO haul & lookbook video but I thought I'd post the photos I took as well as I'm really happy with how they turned out!  I tried the whole 'golden hour' photography thing and although they are a little dark and grainy/overexposed I thought it was a good first try by Alex who's never really been into photography.

I absolutely love this outfit - the skirt fits perfectly and the jacket is unique enough to make a statement, but not too loud that it takes over the outfit.  Finished off with a fedora, sunnies and chunky shoes you can never go wrong.

I'm feeling a little upset today as my best friend let me down and I've just shelled out nearly £800 on car insurance so am going to be broke for Download next week (WAAA) but desperately trying to stay positive and keep my mind off any negativity!  What do you guys do to stay postitive?

I've had this set of photos saved for a little while now but just haven't got round to posting them yet! This top came into my life and went straight to the top of my list of favourite things - it's so unique and a signature piece that no one else will have, plus it's so pretty in the lights when you go out! I've glammed it up before with a bodycon skirt but thought I'd dress it down a bit for these photos, with my trusty mom jeans that have earned a permanent place in my wardrobe after being a little unsure of them before.  With the holographic clutch & earrings I think it's the perfect glam casual outfit!

As promised, here is look number one from my Urban Outfitters haul & lookbook video that I posted last week!  I'm very new to the whole wearing jeans thing, so as you can imagine, wearing mom jeans was a little out of my comfort zone - but I saw these on the UO website and they looked amazing on the model, so I just had to have them!  I'm very torn as to whether to keep them or not as I'm not sure if they suit me, so please leave your honest opinions below!

Despite feeling awful after a night out, Jess and I decided we should probably make the most of being in Bournemouth, so we went on a little walk-about adventure.  I scouted out this pretty monochrome background and we popped into a couple of charity shops then had a bit of lunch, nothing too taxing...but I digress - onto the outfit.

Everything is good in moderation; double denim being one of those things, and I like to think I did well with this combination.  I seem to like items of clothing with insults emblazoned on the front so the subtle take on that with this tee from The Orphan's Arms fits right into my wardrobe, and is slightly more poetic then my 'I HATE YOU' tee.

I also thought I'd add in one of the photos me and Jess got together because we're cute like that.  Today is her birthday so pop over to her Instagram (@JessLester) to give her a follow and a happy birthday and make my best friends day (:
