I GOT MY EYES ON YOU

Earrings* // Moon Bright
Chain necklace* // Zara Taylor
Dress* // Boohoo
Spiked Damsels // Jeffrey Campbell
Rings // Zara Taylor*, Henryka*, AOKO NY*, Regal Rose, Hunter Gatherer*
Lips // Drop Dead Red from Too Faced
Nails* // Scratch

Another Halloween look for you guys because I'm feeling festive (although it's not obvious in my chronic bitchface)!  I got a little more adventurous with my makeup so lined my lips with a chunky black pencil from NV Cosmetics and absolutely love the ombré effect it created!  I love the print on this dress as, at a glance it just looks like a busy monochrome print, but up close its spooky eyeballs, definitely not your usual clubbing dress.  It is actually a midi dress but unfortunately longer dresses are quite unflattering as I have such wide hips so I simply rolled it up a little and voila, mini dress!

THESE DREAMS ARE MY CASTLES

Flower crown // Reading Festival
Top* // SheInside
Skirt* // OASAP
Cat socks* // Chicnova
Silver wedges // eBay
Earrings // Car boot
Bracelet* // Your Fashion Jewellery
Necklace // Regal Rose
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, eBay, AOKO NY*, Thomas Sabo, market, market

Just a quick post before I go outside to catch a bit of sun!  I love the colour of this pastel skirt from OASAP and thought it would go really well with the colours in this doodley top from SheInside, the gradient is so lovely and little designs make it really unique.  To finish I donned some kitty socks which I think are so lovely and similar to some that Topshop had not long ago!

THE PAST WILL FIND YOU

Sunglasses // Giant Vintage
Top // Random shop in Manchester
Shorts* // SheInside
Sandals // Market
Earrings // New Look
Necklace* // AOKO NY
Bracelet* // Delilah Dust
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, market, Primark, Tiffany, IRIDESCENT

I think this is as close to 'sports luxe' as I'll get!  I love the style and follow a ton of bloggers that do it perfectly, however I appear to be kind of incapable, and I'm not really a trainers person - which is one of the main elements in the whole sporty thing.  Anyway, I don't usually like elasticated shorts but these are so comfy and perfect for a casual summer day when denim shorts are a little too much, and the print on them is so rad!  It's a kind of grungy, textured tie dye effect so thought they'd go great with a top I picked up when I went to Manchester for a couple of days earlier this year.  Unfortunately I can't for the life of me remember what the shop I got it from was called as it was just a random discount shop, but there are loads of them around.  I'm a huge UNIF fan and some of their popular designs feature skeleton hands, so this was the perfect addition to my wardrobe, especially at just £5!

VOLTAGE RUNNING THROUGH HER SKIN

Leotard* // Electric Tees
Belt // H&M
Disco Pants* // AX Paris
Spiked Damsels // Jeffrey Campbell
Necklace* // AOKO NY
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, markets, ebay, vintage

I do own American Apparel disco pants which I've featured before, although black gets very boring - which is why I decided to go for a brighter colour, specifically turquoise!  I've seen some people wearing red disco pants but never a colour like this so I thought it would be fun to style.
I know a lot of people are interested in how dupes compare to American Apparel disco pants, and honestly these are hot on the tail of the real thing.  The material is thick but stretchy at the same time, the colour is very vibrant, with identical pockets (which is what lets down a lot of dupes) plus they are £25.99 so nearly £50 off the RRP - go AX Paris!  I would say, however, that the sizes come up small - I got the size 8 and because I have very wide hips I should really have chosen a 10, but these fit very well on my legs so might just need breaking in.
I thought I'd team the disco pants with my awesome leotard from Electric Tees which I love so much - the print is so unique and simple, with a flattering scoop back that has a different, striped pattern.
Anyway I've blabbed a lot in this post!  I hope you all like the outfit!  I also added more items to my blog sale if you haven't seen it already so check it out!

ALIVE IN THE LIGHTS

Jacket* // OASAP
Romper* // My Mum Made It
Jelly Sandals // JuJu
Sunglasses // Primark
Necklaces // Tiffany & Charity Shop
Bracelet // Market
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, Mums, Lumafina, AOKO NY*, market

I absolutely love my custom tie-dyed romper from My Mum Made It.  Nyree makes every item herself and they are all absolutely lovely.  It fits me so well and is perfect for summer which is why I paired it with my clear glitter jelly sandals and denim biker jacket which I think fits me so nicely and will definitely be a wardrobe staple for the next couple of months as a lightweight alternative to a leather jacket.

So with Slam Dunk festival coming up on Sunday I've been religiously listening to a ton of Memphis May Fire, All Time Low, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce the Veil, Woe is Me and a couple of other bands so I have the best time I can.  If you're going and see me please say hi! (:
