Now that my boyfriend lives in London, it means I get a chance to explore fun new locations to shoot outfits - unfortunately with it being winter it starts getting dull at 2pm, so despite the fact I lugged three fabulous outfits in my suitcase this weekend, I didn't get the chance to shoot even one of them, slightly soul-destroying.  Luckily I have these photos from the the other day that I can post instead!  

If you know anything about my style, you'll probably be able to tell that I don't believe in having a 'summer/winter' wardrobe - part of the fun of styling outfits is the challenge of how to make items weather appropriate, why shouldn't I be able to wear my pretty new playsuit when it's cold? I'm no layering queen, but I was pretty proud when I slung on my fishnet top and it looked half-decent, plus with my fave OML jacket I was super toasty for the harsh streets of London!  What do you do to winter-ify summer pieces?

This picturesque background and summery outfit may give it away, but these photos were taken a couple of months ago on my mini holiday to Amsterdam!  The weather was gorgeous, although I packed all skirts/dresses and we rented bikes every day, so had a bit of trouble!  This clutch was a lifesaver because I was able to just loop it on my handlebars, it contains a portable charger, and fit everything I needed, meaning I didn't have to lug around a heavy backpack with my cameras in (I left that to Alex, heheheh).  I also got a snazzy little keyring for it from a random guy at a market stall who asked where my necklace was from, so I gave him the website and he gave me it in return - I can't remember what the name is for it but it tells you the dates/days/months etc for every day up to 2040 (for example I can find out that my birthday will be on a Sunday in 2022 - pointless but pretty cool!).  I do have a couple more outfits from 'Dam as well as a vlog so stay tuned for that!

The first proper post for a long while - I've been severley neglecting my little blog, sorry!  The past three weeks have been non-stop hecticity and I'm now finally at the point where I can see it calming down a little, which is how I'm writing this now!  

I actually shot this outfit yonks ago, but have only got round to posting it now as I've finally had the time to sit down and edit - it features my cat tapestry dress from Glitters For Dinner that I completely fell in love with when it arrived in the post as a little surprise!  I went for simple, girly styling with my pork pie hat & mary janes and (once again) attempted and slightly failed at golden hour photography.  It's difficult to master with so much green everywhere, damn you Hampshire with all your luscious greenery!

This post is long overdue, but better late than never!  A couple of weeks ago I attended the Boohoo AW14 preview event with fellow bloggers Leanne, Laura and Kristiana as well as a couple others to have a little browse of the new collections.  I've always been a huge fan of Boohoo and this time they have truly outdone themselves - there are so many incredible trends they're releasing; from Gatsby inspired pieces, to super sports luxe to glamorous fur and sequins, everything is exceptionally high quality, and Boohoo always promise affordable prices so I cannot wait til' everything it released.  I can't believe I'm saying this with such lovely weather outside, but bring on autumn!

A feeble attempt at an outfit post but I wanted to show you some photos that were taken of me when I was wandering around London the other day. I was trying to find out where to go for an event after my Company induction and didn't notice someone was snapping me, but you can see my awkward smile in the second photo when I realised!  They were taken by the talented Daniel who runs TheUrbanSpotter blog and takes seriously cool street style photos so it's definitely worth checking out!

Not so long ago I took a nice little trip down the road to Primark HQ, which I had no idea was only 20 minutes from where I live, in central Reading!  I was given the challenge to style up all of the Maui & Sons pieces and I had a lot of fun running around the store picking out items to match.  I wanted to go for a super casual beachy vibe, as that's what Maui & Sons is all about, so picked out a lot of denim and comfy accessories.  As you can see from the very last photo, I also had a little prance about in one of their pretty new dresses, such amazing quality whilst keeping affordable - perfect for prom!

I'm no stranger to a smock dress.  I think they're a very love/hate thing because of their sheer shapelessness, which, I think, is what makes them so wearable.  I love the print of this one and the dip hem is a lovely detail, plus it goes perfectly with my new favourite cardigan I picked up at Primark (so snuggly!).  I thought I'd go super co-ordinated with my footwear so went with my burgundy ankle boots from Dolcis, which I actually have two pairs of, so if you want your own pair just read on!

I accidentally got sent the wrong size in these pretty boots so I thought I'd give them away to you guys!  It won't be as flexible as most giveaways as they are a size UK 6 but hopefully they'll go to a home where they can actually be worn and appreciated!  To enter just read the rules below.
