Company X Beyond Retro Party

So a few of you may have seen me on the cover of Company Magazine last month alongside the lovely Zoella, and because of that I was invited to the Beyond Retro X Company East London issue party!  I had a lovely night shopping with Sophie, Katie, Arabella and Charlotte, sipping on delicious BrewDog cocktails and bobbing along to the Blonde Ambition DJ set.  This then led to me cooing over the 50% off area and eventually (half drunkenly) buying a chunky fringed leather jacket..still can't decide whether I love it or hate it but it's a bit late for that isn't it!  Big thanks to the Company team for throwing such a rad event, and also for inviting along little ol' me!  Coincidentally, today I'm out in London shooting for Company again, so keep an eye out for me in the glossy pages in the near future (;
Ps. How cute is the resident cat, Tiny, with his little vintage scarf bed? AW!

 If you haven't been living under a rock for the past couple weeks then you'll know that denim is going to be huge this S/S.  Luckily, New Look have brought out a massive collection of denim, so big they could actually hold an event for it - from playsuits to a zillion different cuts and washes of jeans; you want it, New Look got it.

You may notice from above that only a couple of photos are my own; that would be because despite lugging my camera in and out of London, my memory card corrupted and I lost all my photos.  Disappointing but I really wanted to show you guys what it all looked like and the incredible attention to detail (everything was blue, even the salt!).  I don't know how on earth the organisers managed to find blue washing machines, let alone different shades but it was a seriously cool idea.

My favourite pieces from the collection definitely include the range of playsuits and dresses and has made me really want to venture out of skinny jean territory and into the boyfriend/mom styles (which may or may not happen very soon!).  The most predominant feature of the collection, in my opinion, was the quality of everything.  All pieces were super soft and of a very high quality, designed down to the last detail, yet still being sold at affordable prices - couldn't ask for anything better!

I left the event filled with (a LOT) of fish & chips, blue slushie and blue candy floss and some seriously rad nails done by Claire K Nails and would like to say a big fat thank you to the New Look team for organising such a great event and, of course, for inviting me along!  Oh, and if you'd like to see me awkwardly ramble about customising denim be sure to watch the video above!

VLOG // F&F Press Day & Motel Rocks Party

Just a vlog I filmed at a blogger event last week. I'm still getting used to the whole vlogging thing as I'm not as confident in front of a video camera but hopefully I'll get more comfortable with it the more I film.  This video is probably has more footage of drunken bloggers than the event haha, but I hope you enjoy watching!

AX Paris Burlesque Blogger Party

A couple of weeks ago I attended the AX Paris burlesque blogger party and I know I'm a little late blogging about it - but better late than never I guess!  The event was held at Proud Cabaret which was a truly incredible venue that but on amazing shows.  I've never seen a burlesque performance before and I absolutely loved it.  If you want to see parts of the performances be sure to check out my October Week Vlog (it's near the end!).

I was lucky enough to be one of three bloggers that actually got to model the pieces on stage, alongside Kristiana & Kaori as well as Jayde, the winner of BNTM (may have fangirled a little!).  Although it may have been a little hectic, I had a great time strutting my stuff on stage and afterwards I got to spend time with some of my blogger friends - hello to you if you're reading!  To finish; I'd like to say a big fat thank you to everyone at AX Paris for putting on such a great night, and here's to more in the future!

BLEACH LONDON 'Super Cool Colour' Launch Party

Last week I was lucky enough to be one of the bloggers to attend the Bleach London launch party for their new range of home hair dyes now available in Boots.  With my pink locks, I blended right in with the blur of bloggers and stylists, almost all rocking some kind of coloured tresses.  When I arrived I was greeted with Lola's Cupcakes and what I thought were demo models, until I realised all the bloggers were getting their hair done!  Now I've been there done that with the whole dip dye thing, but watching everyone else getting kaleidoscope hair left mine looking lacklustre so I had an inky dip dye while I was there!  I got Bruised Violet and since I've washed my hair twice and it's still going strong.

If you're feeling a bit bored with your current hair situation, semi-permanent dyes are definitely the way to go - adding a pop of colour can change it up just enough to give a confidence boost while keeping it temporary and not too wild.  Bleach have also brought out dip dye and lightening kits for if you have darker hair and want to go colourful.

Anyway - a huge thank you to all of the Bleach team for putting on a great event, keep up the good work and thank you so much for my purple locks and also for the bottle of dye, I'll be using 'The Big Pink' to refresh my colour from now on!
