School

I am finally free from my secondary school, and now I'm already starting to miss it.  I only joined in year 9, so spent 3 years there and I made so many friends and although there are some bad memories there, there are more amazing ones.  I worked my ass off those 3 years, especially in this last one and I'll always remember my time there.

Formal Day

I know this is actually super late, like over a week maybe, but here are the photo's from my very last day at school before study leave.  We had to dress 'formal' so no silly costumes I'm afraid!  As we are all maturing young adults progressing to a very important stage in our lives the teachers got us a special present, a bouncy castle!  It's a shame it was a really cloudy day, with rain and everything, but it was still really lovely.  We all had a little buffet outside on the grass with the teachers all in their teachery bit doing teachery things...whatever.

Anyway, the GCSE's have finally hit!  I thought I would be really serious about everything considering these exams can potentially determine my future, but I'm not that fussed, it's almost like I don't actually care.  Obviously I do, and I've been revising so hard, and when I'm at school and on days with exams I stress out so bad, but when I'm at home, things just don't really seem to process.

I don't really know what's going on with me at the moment, I sometimes get really down, for no reason whatsoever and just feel like crying (I don't though, don't worry!)  I don't know why, I don't have anything to be sad about, but I still often get blue.  I'm not sure if it's just the stress of exams or the medication I'm on, but hopefully it'll stop soon!

Granny Hill!

Sorry about the late post!  I did promise it yesterday but I was mega busy finishing off art coursework so never got round to it.  Here are a few pictures from our 'granny hill' themed day at school.  It is a pretty unconventional theme, but it was still pretty funny watching 16 year old girls hobble around like lunatics. the name comes from the name of our school, as it's called Farnborough Hill, but people call it 'fanny hill' because it's shorter to say and is an all girls school-makes sense in a crude way I guess, but that's why 'granny' is a pun.  I actually started study leave today, but I will still be going into school as I am completely incapable of concentrating on revision at home, at least at school I can properly get to work.

May make a post of the formal day we had today sometime this week, as well as another photography-ish post and possibly a fashion post so stay tuned!

Last Days

Major apologies for the neglect of my blog lately! I have practically no spare time on my hands and I hate filler posts which just annoy me.  Finally here is a half decent post that I put together real quick, I should be doing my art right now but I'm reeaally not in the mood.

Today was the first of two muck up days we get as year 11, as we go on study leave on thursday.  It's tradition that we have a day of 'jazzed up' uniform where we sign shirts and paint our Doc Marten shoes (it's compulsory to wear them at my school -.-).  I painted mine white with union jacks on the front, which you can see from the second to last picture.  Unfortunately I had to spend the whole day in the art rooms because I have a 10 hour art exam which carries on tomorrow, where the theme is 'granny hill' so it should be pretty funny watching my friends all dressed up as old people painting canvases!

I may post tomorrow if I have any quality pictures, which I probably will haha.  Oh, and is anyone else getting a bit bored of Tumblr? I've had it for a while now with a quite a significant amount of followers but it's getting repetitive and same-old-same-old, guess it's just because I have a lot on my plate at the moment with all these GCSE's!

Catch up

Sorry about the bad quality pic! - Source
Hiya! Just a quick catch up as I don't have much time to post.  I'm now back at school which I'm gutted about, the holidays went by so fast!  They were amazing anyway, so I'm happy about that aspect, but I also did absolutely no revision so a big catch up is due, especially with art, as I'm supposed to know what I'm doing for my final piece already and I have no clue!  These factors will mean that my posts will be less frequent and probably shorter and less quality but I'll try my absolute hardest!

Anyway, I went to Bournemouth again yesterday as my mum decided we were going to have a family day out, to spend some time together as a collective as we don't get to do it often, because my step-dad is always at work, one of my brothers is at boarding school, the other is at golf all the time and I spend a lot of time out and tend to avoid too much family at once!  It was good though, nice to spend some time with the whole family, even though it isn't as fun as going with your friends!

I also want to say a massive thank you to all my followers.  I know there may not be too many of you, a humble 25, but you all mean the world to me.  All the comments I get on my posts are so lovely and really make me feel like the effort I put into my blogging and stuff is worthwhile and that I'm part of the community? (as cheesy as that sounds!).  But yeah, I will try and keep up the good posts so look forward that I guess (:

Happy Saturday

unrelated picture, just thought i'd put it in!
not really much of an exciting day, could have been potentially fun as i'd planned to see someone but then my mum informed me at 9 in the morning that my brother's birthday party was in an hour or so and i needed to be there.  so my day hasn't really been great so far, but last night makes up for it;  i camped out with my friends which was really fun although absolutely freeeezing, would not recommend it!

i have now finished term, so only one more to go until i've finished school!  i'm planning to do a lot of revision but have a feeling i won't be able to concentrate as hard as i really should, i find it so difficult to work at home.  this year has really gone so so fast, weird to think that year 11 is nearly over!  i'm pretty hyped about our last week though, it's tradition that in our last week we have a different theme for each day and all come in dressed as lunatics.  on the very last day we all come in our vandalised uniform and paint our shoes (we have to wear doc martens) so i'm looking forward to that, i'm thinking union jack or leopard for mine! :D

there's a beating to your heart that i just can't be apart

this is my baby brother, he may be annoying and restricting to my social life at times but oh just look at his gorgeous face, i love him to pieces!  this was just going to be a boring text post so i needed to put in a picture somewhere and here it is! (note my wearing my leopard onesie, they're just so comfy!)

okay, so blog regularities:

on my previous blog, susanna valentine, i had weekly features like mini mixtape monday and wednesday wants.  i think it's good for blogs to have them, because they keep posts regular but they can become annoying and a chore for the blogger, especially if they need to get work done (hello, gcse's?) but i do want to feature some blog regularities.  i'm thinking of doing something like the mini mixtape mondays i used to do, but 5 songs would sometimes take a while, so i'm just going to choose 1.  i might also carry on with wednesday wants too and was thinking about doing an photography day? with images on tumblr but i guess you can see them just by following my tumblr d:

so yeah anyway, i go back to school tomorrow! so not looking forward to it, especially as our mocks start on wednesday, as i've probably said in a previous post.  i guess it will be nice to go back as i get to see all of my friends again, as a load of them have been on holiday in half term so i didn't see them.  also also, my boyfriend, shaun, is coming back from his snowboarding holiday in canada today and unfortunately i don't think i'll be able to see him tonight as i'm at mums, but i can't wait to see him as it's been so long!

anyway, i must get back to revision and my delicious, nutritional lunch of pot noodles!
