HAUL // P & Co Clothing

Logo Beanie // £16
Skulls & Arrows tee // £18
With the t-shirt market being so over-saturated, with new, mediocre contenders battling it out day after day it's refreshing to find a brand with original designs. When I took a look at the P & Co website I was greeted with traditional style prints with a modern, hand rendered twist and every t-shirt is hand printed in England. They strive to use the best quality of materials and boy have they succeeded in their quest - the t-shirt fits really well for a mens fit (sometimes they sit strangely) and the beanie is sooooo soft and stretchy, in contrast to the stiff beanies that lose shape. Anyway, to prevent myself from gushing any more, I'll just put a link to their website so you can see for yourself, just click here!

HEADLIGHTS ON DARK ROADS
Dress* // eLCy Clothing
Necklace // Primark
Leather vest // Zara
Thigh socks // Next
Chelsea boots // Deena & Ozzy
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, Market stalls/vintage
I was sent this gorgeous dress by the lovely Lauren who owns the ASOS Boutique, eLCy Clothing. It's made of the most gorgeous, soft fabric and in a faded khaki colour which ties in subtley with all the military inspired fashions that have been so big lately. I decided to keep it simple and style it up with a warmer berry tone and obviously, a ton of jewellery, you know how I do! Anyway, eLCy do a great range of other clothing items, like peplum tops, waterfall skirts and a whole lot of fringing, with everything under £40, awesome or what?!

THE WORST OF THEM
Leather stud skirt* // Motel Rocks @ Love Clothing
Necklace // n/a
Socks // Topshop
Spike Lita's // Jeffrey Campbell
Earrings // Primark
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, market, Lumafina, Love Clothing*, vintage
I received a package from Love Clothing not so long ago and if you saw my #SWBXmas post you'll notice it's the same outfit I wore to that, I didn't have the intention of wearing everything together but I tried it all on when I received it all and they actually go pretty well with each other in my opinion!
I took these photos on my new camera but am actually pretty disappointed with them, they're a lot darker than I expected, but I'm unsure as to whether it's all down to the camera or because it was quite a dark day, either way hopefully they'll improve in the future!
I'll try take some pictures of my new years outfit, but I'll probably be wearing the Lashes of London dress I posted here as the theme is black & gold, happy new years eve all of you, have a good time and don't do anything stupid!

DARKSIDE HAUL
Triple black cross necklace // £7.99 [link]

Red tartan skinny jeans // £34.99 [link]

Black t-shirt dress // £28.50 [link]

Leopard denim shorts // £24.99 [link]

Melting yin yang tee // £15 [link]

Black mesh dress // £29.50 [link]

Black cross knuckle ring // £4.99 [link]

Yin yang ring // £4.99 [link]
I received this package from DARKSIDE the other day and was so surprised at the amount of items inside! I have already featured the mesh dress in a post here and the skeleton t-shirt dress here and am in the process of photographing more of the items. I'm most excited about the tartan trousers, but am still thinking of what to style them with, any suggestions? And I'd love to know what you think of my items! (:

Miracle Eye
Finally bought a rainbow tie dye dress from Miracle Eye! I've been wanting it for ages and it arrived not so long ago. I'll try take some outfit photos soon so I can show it off but for now you'll just have to make do with looking at the smiley rainbowy package!

postcards and polaroids
Randomly at my friend Polly's house at the moment which is a little weird, but when I came back from France I had a ton of parcels from eBay and thought I'd share them with you. The yin yang ring is actually from Etsy and it's vintage, it cost me £10 and I'm so happy with it despite the fact it's a little big for me. The gorgeous handknitted jumper is so warm and a lot of effort and love was put into it and I got it for just 99p! I feel kinda bad as it would have cost so much more to make purely for wool but that's life. Lastly the vintage purple corset also cost me 99p and it actually fits me so well, however I am debating whether to put it up for sale on my shop though.
What do you think of my buys? (:

Haul/Review

So a while ago (about 2/3 months or so) I ordered a load of clothes from Wholesale-dress.net. I chose the cheapest, slowest shipping, so I'm not surprised that it took so long, as it did come from China. I do already own some items from them, as they sent me some stuff a few months back so I knew that the quality isn't the best, but this lot really took the biscuit. I'll admit that it's excellent value for money, but the quality of some of the items really is pretty bad. This isn't necessarily a post slagging everything off, but I prefer being honest about items rather than advertise all the time.
Item 1 - French style lace blouse
This is probably the item I am least satisfied with. In the picture on the website, it looks like a really great item, with it being pretty long, with a nice fit and full length sleeves. When I tried it on, I was very disappointed. It's really short, the sleeves are only 3/4 length and it's basically transparent. The model must be extremely tiny, as I haven't got a particularly large frame. It's more of a children's size than women's.
Item 2 - Half sleeve leopard blazer/blouse
From the listing, you can tell that the arms are supposed to be 3/4 length which I don't mind, but the listing also shows this item with a collar. I'm not too disappointed with this item, I'll probably wear it, but the product photos and descriptions are not detailed enough. This item is also quite a small size.
Item 3: Black bodycon cocktail dress
This item isn't the best of quality but it's still wearable. It fits me well and I've already worn it out once. the chest sectioning isn't done well, but it's not noticeable when worn.
Item 4 - Layered lace pantskirt (apricot)
I actually bought this item after seeing it featured on the blog Greer & Rose. She made the item look really good, but I don't have a clue as to how to wear it. The item is relatively good quality, but there are so many stray cotton strands all over them. Of course it's simple to just cut them all off, but it's not good unpackaging an item to see all that. I'll probably end up selling this as it's taken so long to arrive that my taste has changed.
Item 5 - Crochet Vest
This item is pretty good quality actually. The detailing is good and it's a nice fit. It's just a shame that in the time it took to arrive I bought another one almost identical!
Item 6 - Faux fox tail
This is definitely my favourite item of the lot, as it's so soft and really good quality, feeling just like a real fox tail. I've already worn it out and got a few compliments, although compared to other items on wholesale-dress.net it is one of the more expensive items.
Item 7 - Pearl/gold layered necklace
This item is average quality, and again, because it took so long to arrive my tastes have changed. I bought it because it is almost identical to the Topshop one stocked not so long ago. When I opened it, one of the charms had already fallen off, but this isn't a problem as I had all the tools I needed to fix it with.
Sorry to have rambled a lot, and for the messy post, but a few people asked me for reviews so here it is! To sum it up, I wouldn't say that I'm disappointed with all of the stuff I bought, as there are some good things among it, so I would recommend it to others, purely because of the amazing prices!

Crystallised

So the Topshop sale is on, and because I'm on the mailing list, I had a day to have a shop before the sale officially started! I bought this pretty vest top with a crystal pattern on it (which is now sold out!). Normally I like to have my tops a little baggy, so I bought a size 10. It arrived really quickly but when I put it on, it's a really weird shape so I'm a little disappointed. The necklines quite high, the sleeves are really weirdly cut so you can see my bra at the side, and in a bad way, not like a deep cut sleeve vest, cause I like them. The bottom is also really strangely elasticated and wrinkles a lot as it is so wide. It's a real shame because I love the print, just the shape is bad, but it was reduced from £18 to £8 so I'll keep it, I can always cut the sleeves and neckline! What do you guys think of it?
