I think although the main focus of this outfit may be the galaxy tee, you can't deny the adorable cat ring some credit!  I haven't taken it off since I received it and have received floods of compliments.  It's from a brand new online store, AOKO NY which is totally rad so would definitely recommend having a browse of their site!

As I have the crappiest job ever I have to work literally every day this week apart from christmas day, and I know if they could they would make me work then too!  I have a 8am start tomorrow (I know right, kill me now) but thankfully, I don't have to work new years eve or new years day, or even the day after that, so I have plenty of time to recover!

I received this package from DARKSIDE the other day and was so surprised at the amount of items inside!  I have already featured the mesh dress in a post here and the skeleton t-shirt dress here and am in the process of photographing more of the items.  I'm most excited about the tartan trousers, but am still thinking of what to style them with, any suggestions? And I'd love to know what you think of my items! (:

I love love loooove this blouse from Lulu's as it is the perfect amount of sheer-ness and the metal detailing on the collar and cuffs is so unique! I love that the blouse is a little longer at the back than it is at the front as it's really flattering and I can't wait to style it up with different items of clothing!  I went for the more casual option here, just teaming it with my vintage Levi's shorts but I often wear the shirt with skirts which I like too.  My camera was being really annoying so I didn't manage to get many good photos, whenever I tried to get it to take a picture it would just focus in and out and not do anything, has anyone else had this problem with the Nikon D5000?

The gorgeous Ellen Atlanta placed an order from my shop, Iridescent, a short while ago and was amazing enough to post some pictures of her wearing the shorts she bought! A pretty random post I know, but I hate going a few days without posting! I took these pictures a little while back and been waiting to post them so here you go. I honestly have soooo much on my plate at the moment due to college, so I my blog may suffer a little, but I'll try my best to keep up! I can't wait until I've done a year of sunday summaries, then I can stop and my blog will just be quality posts, if a little less frequent! I only really have a few months until my blog is 1, and I'm at 370 GFC followers so thank you so much guys, it means so much to me that people actually take an interest in my little blog!

I thought it was a little bit of a random post, but a few people said that they'd be interested in seeing my many pairs of shorts haha. So what do you think of my little collection, which is your favourite pair? (:

feeble attempt at an 'outfit post'.  basically all the blogs i follow do them, so guess people must take interest in them?  anyway, as you may be able to tell from the picture, i'm absolutely knackered! had a pretty late night last night but whev, hopefully i can keep going all of today then i'll go to bed early and not fall asleep during the day tomorrow!  but yeah, i bought these shorts in primark yesterday and looove them.  they were only £9!  i also got the american flag top that everyone has and some socks and feather headband thingy.  i'll probs feature them in future posts if i can be bothered.

so today was my mums birthday meal, we went to some prosh restaurant and i was practically falling asleep at the table, my bad.  but yuh, was alright, now i have a food baby.  i should probably be tidying my room and doing my homework right now but i have too short an attention span and i'm procrastinating like a boss.

must go play on my ds now, i think i'm having withdrawal symptoms. baaai

the future seemed so bright

so the mysterious topshop package is revealed! i bought american flag shorts.  the only size they had left was a 12 and i'm more of an 8-10 so they're actually quite big on me, but i love them, so i'll get over it.  they were quite expensive, at nearly £30 and aren't amazing quality but then again, none of my clothes are, i shop mostly in primark etc, which isn't really renowned for it's amazing quality clothes (and who's noticed that the prices are going up??) also, this photo is on tumblr here, i put it up just now and someones already reblogged it, so i have a little buzz of achievement at the moment aha, its very rare when people reblog my stuff d:

anyway, this weekend i am grounded unfortunately, but it's not as bad as it could be because i actually went to the gym today and i ordered pokemon black for nintendo ds the other day which arrived yesterday and so far i'm completely addicted, already got two of eight gym badges (not that most people will know what they are!) and my pokemon are nearly all level 20! ahh apologies for being a such a pokénerd!

lastly, i have a new favourite ~depressing song.  i first heard it when it was featured on radio 1 a few days ago and it's a generally lovely song, better than the original in my opinion, partly because there's no rap aha.  anyway, it's a cover of 'love the way you lie part 2' by skylar grey and you can listen to it below.  i really like her voice, and i can't wait for her album to come out, after hearing her in 'coming home' and 'i need a doctor'.
