IT'S A LONG ROAD THROUGH THE NIGHT

Now that I'm living in central London, I've made it my resolution to explore the city more, so I had a day out with Tessa to explore, where we visited a couple of galleries.  I also want to introduce more lifestyle posts to my blog, so I thought I'd combine an outfit post with 'what I did today' to bring you this - more after the jump!



The first gallery we went to was Marian Goodman - I'd passed by a couple of days before and a huge neon piece drew me in - the exhibition hadn't launched by then so I went along with Tessa when it had opened.

It's very minimalist with some great pieces, but my favourite is definitely the lights - I'm a huge neon lover so I stared at the flashing lights for quite some time!  The gallery is right in the heart of soho in Golden Square, so I'd definitely recommend popping in!


  

Of course a visit to Soho isn't complete without a visit to Ben's Cookies, swear I'm addicted!



On our way to get dinner at Pho, we stopped by the Unit London gallery - which has some more modern pieces, so overall I preferred this gallery - this is also right in the heart of Soho so wander in if you have the chance, my fave pieces included a gun covered in butterflies and a storm trooper helmet decoupaged with dollars!
