It literally feels like ages since I posted an outfit with my usual wardrobe background so here I am once again - nothing fancy!  I thought I'd post this outfit as it's perfect timing for New Years and there is a possibility this dress might make the cut.  I love how it's shaped to look like a two piece and the cut of it is structured so really flattering in my opinion.  I've never actually seen a rose gold dress before so I was more than happy to welcome such a unique piece into my wardrobe!

Sorry I haven't really blogged this week, I've been spending a lot of time with my family over the Christmas period, and had a really lovely time!  I had to work a lot of hours as I'm in retail but I didn't let it ruin my Christmas spirit, sad it's all over now.  Hope you all had a good Christmas(:

Casual Curls Tutorial // Toni & Guy Hourglass Wand

As it's one of my new favourite things I really wanted to do a tutorial video with the Toni & Guy hourglass wand!  I created my version of a casual curly style and am actually really surprised with how well it turned out, I was half expecting it to all go wrong and for me to have to film it like 5 times over!  I really hope you all like the video and let me know what you think below!

CageCity Meets Photoshoot

Last week I was lucky enough to get to spend a day with the lovely ladies at CageCity!  For all of you that may not know - CageCity stock a couple of my favourite brands including MinkPink, Evil Twin, StyleStalker and Finders Keepers, as well as supporting up-and-coming designers, so have a really unique range of clothing you won't find anywhere else!  I was a little overwhelmed at first as I picked out so many pieces I wanted to style but I whittled it down and I'm really happy with how the looks turned out.  I think my favourite outfit has got to be the last photo, such an awesome jacket (coming soon for SS14!) and the skirt fit me like a glove, although I adored the leggings in the second photo!

Another look from my Missguided shoot - I was really not into the PVC trend at first, but after seeing this skirt I really wanted to give it a go and I love how it fits!  The sparkly jumper reminds me of tinsel and catches the light perfectly so this outfit would be great for partying (maybe with a pair of tights though in this weather!).  What do you guys think of the PVC trend?

This is my favourite outfit at the moment - so simple, but mixing studs and floral really works in my opinion.  I actually wore this to the clothes show live and got so many compliments on the jacket - and it's not actually that heavy at all considering the sleeves are covered in studs (they're hollow so don't weigh as much).  Right now I'm actually finding it a little difficult to type because I've been rewatching the Misfits series from start to finish for the past couple of days and I'm currently watching it now - I'm very easily distracted so I'm gonna leave it here for now and I'll update you guys tomorrow! (:

Behind The Scenes // Missguided Photoshoot

 Back in October, Missguided held a little halloween blogger competition and I was lucky enough to win (and I have you guys to thank!). The prize was a day at Missguided HQ to help out with a shoot and I also got to style a couple of outfits and have a couple of photos myself which you'll see real soon! I (attempted) to vlog while I was there and thought I'd post it alongside these awesome behind the scenes photos taken by one of the Missguided photographers. I had a seriously incredible time and can't thank the team at Missguided enough, it was an amazing opportunity, and I hope you guys like the photos!
