I think it's no secret that I'm a bit of a gamer (I mean I had a Reshiram GIF in my blog sidebar for the best part of 2 years) so when the opportunity to work with Nintendo cropped up, of course I couldn't refuse - especially when the game is all about fashion!

New Style Boutique is all about the rise to the top of the fashion world - whether it's managing a boutique, being an ace hairdresser or pro make-up artist, there are a ton of career paths you can choose - but I won't spoil it too much for you guys.

At the start of the game you create your character and pick out a style kit that suits you best (boho, girly or gothic) - obviously I chose gothic, and inside were some badass pieces; biker jackets, chunky boots, buckles and black galore!  I dressed my character up in some adorable outfits (photos after the break) so I thought I'd recreate the style in real life!

The outfits I created in the app were all centred around high socks and a mini skirt, just looks so cute!  There's a high-neck top in my game wardrobe, and luckily I have one in my real-life wardrobe so picked that out, and of course I couldn't leave out the biker jacket!  As the print on the top is kinda witchy, I thought I'd add my own twist with this rad 'book of spells' clutch - it's got pentagrams all printed on the inside and is my new obsession, so damn awesome!

Stress has been replaced with relief this week, as I took my exam which means 40% of my grade is done and dusted - hopefully I did well!  In other news, I got into the Christmas spirit at the Carnaby Christmas shopping party (vlog coming soon) and I've got a busy week coming up with some blogger events so I'm excited for that!

Not a particularly snazzy outfit post today - I was off to a couple of press days and had Sas take some on my phone; I just thought the outfit was too cute to not blog!  The top and skirt pairing makes it feel like some kind of witchy school uniform - maybe it's because I just finished rewatching AHS Coven...so wish I could go to a witch finishing school!  Anyways I've got to sign off as I have a buttload of revision to get through for my exam on Friday - wish me luck!

A little stressed as the end of this week means it's only a few days 'til my course exam, need to get my revision on!!  Unfortunately I didn't see any firework shows this year, but I did go to a Boohoo party followed by a Young Guns gig at Community Festival so I can't complain!  Hope you all had a great Guy Fawkes night!
