I finally got my hands on a camel coat and thought it looked great against the dense print of this smock.  It fits me really well and although it's not to everyones taste, I love how completely shapeless it is!  I finished off the look with some cutesy shoes & a choker to keep from being too girly and love how everything looks together!

After a long day of dancing and throwing powder paint around, it's nice to have some chill out time at my laptop!  Polly, Alex and I bought last minute tickets to Holi Festival on a whim and despite it being the first festival I've been to where I haven't known any of the acts, I had a blast.  The weather was a bit of a downer at first as we walked to the festival in pouring rain but it soon cleared up thankfully, as I know the day before it rained quite a bit.  I've always seen photos of the colour festivals online so it was amazing to experience it for myself, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that's contemplating going - however you WILL get paint all in your hair, eyes, mouth and nose - that part isn't too fun!  Watch my video of the paint countdown here!

With all this sunny weather we're having at the moment I thought I'd make my nails bright and tropical so opted for this bright blue when I last went to the nail salon (I get acrylics if you're wondering - please excuse how grown out they are!).  I can't actually remember the colour I got, but I've linked one that's very similar if you want to get the look.  The glitter was another nail varnish overlaid which I couldn't find but this Deborah Lipmann colour is quite close.  I finished off with a Hex nail charm on each hand, which is one of the easiest ways to add nail art without spending ages doing your nails, plus they look so unique - definitely one of my fave things at the moment!

Two awesome things combined into one - the Itchy & Scratchy show capsule collection for Drop Dead is designed perfectly and definitely one of the best brand collaborations around at the moment.  These two pieces arrived at my doorstep recently and look so rad together, so I thought I definitely had to whip out the Instax because, lets face it, everything looks better on film!

I'm a little late blogging on this one, but am slowly getting more up to date with catch up blogging so please bear with while I sort everything out!  I popped into the New Look AW14 event last month and was greeted with a plethora of sequins mixed with luxe fur and a ton of glitzy accessories - extremely impressed with the new collection.  I spent my time clutching a Midori cocktail and catching up with some blogger buddies, lusting over the gorgeous pieces - big thanks to New Look for organising and (I can't believe I'm saying this) bring on autumn!

I've never been particularly good at the whole boho trend, despite absolutely adoring the style so when challenged with styling this blue tie dye number from MinkPink I was a little at a loss.  I just don't own enough fringing or pretty kimonos to go boho so I went a little sporty with a tee underneath and a pair of my mums trainers and am pretty happy with how the look turned out.  Not too much of a signature look of mine but definitely one of the more wearable ones, and a blog is about personal style - as much as I'd like to be I'm not always dressed to the nines!

A very simple Sunday Summary this week as apparently I've not been feeling too snap happy recently, I think it's probably because I spent the first couple of days this week recovering from Download Festival!  Hopefully next week will be a little more eventful, sorry for the pathetic attempt at a post!

Topshop X RewardStyle Blogger Party

  

A couple of weeks ago now I was lucky enough to attend the Topshop X RewardStyle event, which luckily was on the same day as the Boohoo event so I popped along afterwards.  When I arrived the event was in full swing so I grabbed a cocktail and had a browse through the new Topshop collection.  There was a polaroid camera with films galore so of course bloggers were swarming the table and instagramming and I had a photo taken with my favourite piece from the collection, the gorgeous white leather jacket (which you can't really make out due to the overexposure!).  It was a lovely little event to mingle with other bloggers and I had a lovely time, big thanks to the RStyle team for organising!

As you all should know by now, anything with back detail goes down a treat with me, so this Drop Dead jacket was the perfect addition to my wardrobe.  I thought I'd wear it with a girly playsuit to grunge it up a bit and, as always, couldn't pass up the chunky boots!
