Sunday Summary Week 19

1/ Photoboothing with Freddie
2/ Brand new Moleskine for graphics! (;
3/ Freddie messing around with the glass doors, hahaha
4/ My favourite tights ruined ):
5/ A car at college, post-it noted to shit
6/ Got my hair dyed blonder (purples fading!)

Things I loved this week:
1/ As always, loving Lauren's blog, Noir Nouvelle, especially her new layout!
2/ This little stick man game, pretty cute
3/ Name origin generator, pretty funny!

So if you're an (unfortunate) follower of my twitter, you'll know that my weekend has been, well, shite.  I felt really left out on Friday, as all of my friends went to events, none of which I was invited to, there was supposed to be a party on Saturday, which got cancelled, so I decided to go to London with my dad to redeem my lomo voucher, but he also let me down, then today I was supposed to go to my boyfriends band recording but he had no signal so we couldn't communicate properly and it all went pear shaped.  So altogether I've been pretty unhappy this past 3 days, with a few tears being shed, but I did get to see Alex for two hours from 7 so at least I got to do something, and it did cheer me up a little.

Apologies for the super long rambly sentence, I'm absolutely knackered and need to get some shut eye.  Night night all!

This Turbulance is Beautiful

So the other day I received a little parcel from the lovely Kate from This.Is.What.I.Do.  A little while ago she held a giveaway on Twitter with one of her great skull necklaces from her online shop up for grabs.  luckily, I won and had my pick of any colour!  I decided to go with black and I'm so happy with it.  Kate makes each skull herself, as well as t-shirts and earrings, so I urge you to check out her shop here, as her stuff is so cool, and really well priced.  Thank you so much Kate!

Reading Festival 2011 (3)

Here's the third and final post with my photographs from Reading Festival.  They were taken on a disposeable camera and I'm really happy with the way they turned out, considering!  (The contents in the baggie being held up by my friend is in fact flapjack, just clarifying in case it looks dodgy!) I really miss Reading now, as I had such an amazing time and I'm definitely going to go again for my 5th consecutive time next year!

UO

So the time has come to reveal what was in my Urban Outfitters package in my Sunday Summary.  It's a satchel!  I bought it in the sale for just £22 plus postage and from the websites dimensions it would be the perfect size to have as a bag to use for college.  It arrived and I'm quite sad to say that I was a little disappointed.  The leather is pretty plasticy and the fabric seems a bit flimsy, plus it's too small to fit A4, contrary to the measurements online.  At least I didn't spend too much, and I guess I could use it as a casual going out bag, but I'm still gutted as I love the pattern.  I would give you the link to the listing but it's now sold out, sorry!

Reading Festival 2011 (2)

Photos today are from the Thursday/Friday and possibly Saturday at Reading.  This is the camera with my favourite pictures, mostly down to the group picture of everyone in the mud and the one of my and alex, cuuuute!  Also, I'm getting a little bored of my current camera lens, and am looking into getting a 50mm lens for my Nikon D5000.  However I know nothing about them, so if you have experience or have general knowledge about them, let me know some details, are they worth the price? What makes them different to the bog standard 35mm lenses? Help!

Sunday Summary Week 18

1/ Got a surprise package from Urban Outfitters, I'll do a post about the contents this week!
2/ Passing time during a free at college (an hour and a half!)
3/ Got my nails done lilac-y, picture doesn't do them justice!
4/ My new discovery-Chicken chow mein, loooove it!
5/ Freddie with a phone and glasses, hahaha
6/ Dying the ends of my hair different colours, I'll do a post on this next week as well

Things I loved this week:
1/ Really liking Ruby's blog, Ruby Woo lately!
2/ This Vicky Pollard twitter, so funny!
3/ The gorgeous pictures from this editorial, amazing

So this past week has felt like the longest week ever. I think it's because I'm not used to all the spare time at college.  I get 6 frees a week, all an hour and a half long and it does get boring (and expensive!) lolling around all day.  I've been hemorrhaging money in general everything-ness, so much to the point that I get random parcels that I've completely forgotten about, and wonder why I actually bought the thing in the first place.  It is also nice to be surprised though!  Anyway, I've got to be off as I've got dye on my hair and I wanna wash it out and see what it looks like!

Reading Festival 2011 (1)

I finally got my disposeable cameras from Reading Festival developed. I'm pretty happy with how they came out, especially as I forgot to put on the flash most of the time!  I'll split them between three posts, one for each camera I took with me, don't wanna overload you with pictures!  These photos are from the Wednesday because I went early bird, so they don't feature too many people as only a few people were with me!  Anyway, I have so much homework to do, so stay tuned for the next two Reading posts!
