Hollow Men

This has got to be my new favourite song. Yeah I'm into all of the metal music etc. but you can't go wrong with a good, chilled acoustic song. My good friend Louis recorded this with his friend Olivia, who's an incredible singer, and I urge you to give it a listen, the sound is real soft and perfect for a sleepy playlist (or is it just me that has one of those?!). Louis is also the lead guitarist for the band Goodnight Vienna, an extremely talented and genuine guy so he deserves to do well out of all this, so please, take two minutes and thirty seven seconds out of your day to listen to this, I can assure you it'll be worth it!

Today hasn't been too bad.  Presentwise it's been awesome, but familywise not so much.  My mum and stepdad aren't good and the day was reflected by this.  Mum went to bed at like 5 and everyone was apart on the day where you're supposed to be a strong family unit, playing games and watching movies etc.  Anyway I'll stop being a downer! We dressed my baby bro in a little santa outfit and went to the ice rink and Christmas dinner was incredible. I've now got Christmas at my dads house to look forward to on the 29th and I had Christmas with my grandparents last week, and actually have some pictures of that to put up, so expect many pictures very soon!

At the moment I'm watching Danisnotonfire and Amazing Phil on the Radio 1 website and they are so funny! I love their videos so a 2 hour show featuring them is a dream come true, they also interview Oli Sykes, ahhh! If you're online now I strongly recommend clicking here and watching/listening to them!

As promised, here are some of the photos from the photoshoot I did with my friend Polly.  A lot of the pictures didn't turn out too great as it was a pretty rushed shoot, so she does look a little like a kid dressed up for halloween as the lighting wasn't that great but I created some good images in the end that I'm happy with! It's pretty late but I wanted to show you some pictures of my new phone! I got it for my birthday in October and I loooove it.  It's a 64GB iPhone 4S so it has Siri and everything that's fun to play with, but the battery life is pretty appauling, doesn't even last a day which is annoying, but it's worth it for how fast it is!  I could never go back to anything other than an iPhone!

I'm sooooo glad that the holidays are finally here!  College has been putting so much pressure on me lately so this break is much needed, although I do still have a ton of work I need to do.  However, this break does mean that I'll be able to post more frequently *yay* so look forward to that! I'm going to Manchester for an early Christmas with my grandparents tomorrow until Thursday so wish me luck as the weather there is apparently absolutely freezing!

If we climb this high, I swear we'll never die

It's taken me a while to get round to it but the other week I won a giveaway held on Ellie's blog, Freak on a Leash.  I was sooo happy when I found out as the prizes are awesome so just had to share with you!  If you can't tell fro the picture, I got a flower garland, two packs of incense, two nail varnishes, a topshop(!) shredded vest and some body wash and scrub, along with a lovely little letter from Ellie.  This is really a post to say thank you very much, and I recommend you all to check out her blog!

This week has actually been really good, as far as college weeks.  I'm still major behind on christmas shopping though, as well as a ton of work!  My mums going away for work or something this week so I have to stay at dads, so I won't get to see Freddie for ages which is pretty depressing! I had a party Saturday night and today I went Christmas shopping in Kingston.  It's such a good place to go but it was completely packed, I prefer shopping online!  Now I'm knackered, so night!

We're so sick & oh so tired

Hey guys, just a quick post before I go to bed.  I don't really have that much to say other than my mum and stepdad have been going through a rough time lately and he left for a few days last week so that's been on my mind a lot lately.  I'm pretty shook up about the whole thing but I'm just hoping everything will work out and things will be back to normal, so that's why I've been kinda absent.  The picture's pretty random I know, but i thought it was cool looking so popped it in as I hate posts that are solely writing.  Lastly it's a long shot, but it would really mean a lot to me if you could vote for me in a competition here.  You just have to connect it to facebook (don't worry, it doesn't post anything on your wall etc) and then find me on the 'most popular' tab then click the vote button. College is actually taking over my life! I'm absolutely knackered so this is just a quick post.  I went to the clothes show live today with two friends and it was so good! I've been going every year since 2007 and went with my mum and 2 friends this year.  I didn't buy much for a change, I instead got my mum to buy me stuff to wrap up for me for christmas, so I kind of got all my christmas presents, buzzing!

Deena & Ozzy

Very late post, sorry guys! I actually bought these shoes the other weekend (19th November to be exact!) when I was in London.  My and the boyfriend went birthday shopping for him and we went into Urban Outfitters.  I didn't really have much of an intention to buy any shoes, but I did need some heels as I have no idea where my favourite black wedges have gone! ):  Anyway, the shoes are by Deena & Ozzy and were in the sale, reduced from £120 to £60! They are a size 8 so a size too big, but it's not really noticeable and I normally wear socks with heels anyway.  I absolutely love them to pieces and am really debating whether to wear them to the Clothes Show Live on sunday! On one hand they make my legs look pretty good, but it's a lot of walking around, therefore, PAIN.  So, you guys likey? (:

If I had any heart left, I'd give it all to you

Yeah the pictures aren't the best quality as they're from facebook, but I went to an 18th birthday party on saturday night and it was really great so wanted to share with you guys!  They hired a bouncy castle, got a marquee, made punch, and even had party bags (filled with false moustaches, bubbles and vodka!).  There were a few disposeable cameras dotted around for us to take pictures, and they turned out really good, some being pretty funny.  As you can see in the first picture, I wore my (horrendously tall!) new shoes, which I'll make a post about tomorrow, so was nearly taller than my boyfriend! I drank a little bit too much, so didn't have the best sunday morning, never mix your drinks people!  To top it off I'm pretty sure I have tonsillitis again, which is annoying as I only just recovered from it like last week, ah well, wish me well in my recovery );

This week has been pretty great if I do say so myself.  I got a new phone, got a ton of work done, sent off some shop orders and went to a party saturday night, which was really fun until I woke up in the morning with a banging hangover, but it happens!  I went driving around for a bit today, in both an automatic Fiat 500 and my mums diesel Jaguar estate which was pretty scary as the engine is so powerful.  People were giving us pretty funny looks though, all thinking, 'she's learning in a jaguar, wth?!' but altogether I still suck at driving, so need a lot more practise!  I've been a little emotional today for some reason, and my heads in a bit of a bad place but that might be down to my hangover/lack of sleep/hormones so hope I feel better in the morning!

A pretty random post I know, but I hate going a few days without posting! I took these pictures a little while back and been waiting to post them so here you go. I honestly have soooo much on my plate at the moment due to college, so I my blog may suffer a little, but I'll try my best to keep up! I can't wait until I've done a year of sunday summaries, then I can stop and my blog will just be quality posts, if a little less frequent! I only really have a few months until my blog is 1, and I'm at 370 GFC followers so thank you so much guys, it means so much to me that people actually take an interest in my little blog!

Wishlist: Sabo Skirt

After discovering the Sabo Skirt website a little while back I just had to make a post about them!  Their stuff is just beautiful, and they do a range of clothing, from beautiful dresses to gorgeous flowy skirts, to perfectly destroyed denim shorts.  If I had the money I would honestly buy everything they sell!
