I meant to post this yesterday after my first day at my Company internship but er.. Primark happened.. haul to come soon!  So far my internship's going great, I'm pretty exhausted as I'm very busy all day but time goes really quickly, and because it's central I have Oxford Circus on my doorstep, not good for my bank balance!
This was just a quick throw-on outfit, nothing too fancy.  This black rucksack is the third addition to my Grafea collection and definitely my favourite, black goes with everything and the houndstooth ponyskin pocket is just gorgeous.  This crop top is so unique, not seen an open back like it before and because I'm not blessed in the breasty department I'm more drawn to back detail!

So today is a very exciting day because I am currently in my temporary London house!  I'm staying with a friend because I managed to get an internship at Company Magazine starting tomorrow for one month, so excited!  I'll be sure to update you guys along the way and let me know if you'd like me to do a post or something about my time there.  I'd love to do a post on how to get an internship at Company, but I literally just asked the head stylist while I was at my photoshoot with them and they booked me in!  It's my first proper internship for a long while so if any of you have any tips do let me know below - and any London friends get in touch as I'll be here for the next four weeks!

For all of you that don't own a pair of pilot shades; I seriously recommend them - they make you look and feel at least three times cooler when added to an outfit, and in this ensemble I felt like I could totally walk out and speed off on a Harley.  I've never tried the whole leathery leggings thing but these biker ones are seriously rad and so versatile, definitely going to have fun styling them up in different ways!

I'm typing this whilst full of a delicious Easter roast dinner and watching The Lone Ranger (excellent movie by the way, do recommend) so I'll keep it short & sweet.  This week I've been working my butt off to get a lot of posts scheduled as I start my month-long internship at Company magazine on the 28th and I know I'm not going to be able to post as regularly when working so hard and living in London, so far though it's not going too great as it takes me so long to put posts together!  I guess you'll all find out how well it goes in a couple of weeks time!

I always have the same problem when going out - I'm wearing a pretty outfit but I have to throw on a chunky jacket or coat that ruins it, which is why this sequin number is perfect!  I love how it looks with the galaxy print of the dress, and always, I had to finish off the outfit with some chunky boots.  These ones are from Ark and I talked about them a little in my latest haul video if you'd like to hear more about them.  I also think my jewellery deserves a special mention - my rings are from Rogue + Wolf and they are by far my favourite jewellery shop ever.  I discovered them at Pure London and their designs are so unique, I literally stood at the stall for 10 minutes gushing over all the designs, so I'm delighted to finally have some of my own!  I can't wait to show you the rest of my pieces so keep an eye out for future appearances!

Yes I have given in and tried out the generic blogger 'aerial clutter photo' but I do love how they look, and don't think it turned out too badly!  I haven't done a post like this in a while so I thought I'd change it up a little after receiving these two adorable pieces!  Catseye London is a kooky little company that create lifestyle accessories with fun prints - you may recognise some of their designs from walking round the likes of Urban Outfitters or Selfridges.

Why have a boring old sensible washbag, when you can have a pretty kitty peeping at you while you wash your face?  I picked out the silver kitty one but there are tons of other designs (including pugs!) and it's top quality for the low price.  You may not be able to tell from the photos but it's shiny, therefore meaning it's waterproof and wipe clean - no more soggy washbags, huzzah!  It also has two inside pockets for keeping things like toothbrushes and cotton pads organised and out of the clutter, perfect for me as I'm a bit of a germ freak.

As for the case, the design is gorgeous, wish I could do a 360 angle view because the print carries on over the sides of the case and there's a pretty electric pink colour inside which you can just see peeking out.  It feels really nice in your hands (sounds weird, but it's very satisfying to hold) and definitely something to spice up a mirror selfie!

Anyway, I can't believe I've just written two paragraphs gushing over a washbag and a phone case, but seriously - just go check out Catseye London to take a look for yourself rather than taking my word for it.  If you've actually read this far - let me know if you liked this post and if you'd want to see more like this, thought it would be fun to try something new!

This dress could not have come into my life at a better time, as I watched The Great Gatsby not so long ago and absolutely fell in love with the wardrobe.  Although I'm no competition to the likes of Miss Daisy, this beaded number is still absolutely gorgeous.  I thought I'd add a modern touch with some clean black courts, and because longer dresses don't flatter me too well, I added a belt to hoick it up a little, although it fell a little bit for these photos unfortunately, so I don't have much waist definition!  TK Maxx are on point at the moment, whether you're looking for a glam, going out dress like this or something pretty for spring, they have tons of gorgeous dresses online at the mo' - my wishlist is endless!
