LET THEM STARE

Dress* // Let Them Stare
Shoes // Carvela (mums)
Clutch* // Marc b
Necklace // Etsy (one off)
Bracelet // Thomas Sabo
Rings // Market, Mums, market, Thriftette*, Rachael Sudlow
Nail polish* // Northern Sky Nails

This is definitely one of the most flattering dresses I've worn in a while - I think the cut is so lovely and gives the illusion of a smaller waist where the pattern on the fabric slants..if you get what I mean.  What makes it even more amazing is that it was totally handmade by the lovely Anastasia, and she is mega talented because there is not one flaw in the design - I could never make a dress of this quality even if I tried!  I love the sheer back, and I find it's better for my body shape, as it's a well known fact that if you're 'breastically challenged' you can make up for it by showing off your back!  Moving on - I think these accessories were literally made for this dress - the dull nude shoes go perfectly with the hints of brown in the dress, and the Marc b bag matches almost spot on with the blue, it's also a lovely summer colour and can be used as a clutch or a purse!  For the purpose of these photos I actually stuffed it with some fluffy socks - little 'behind the scenes' fact for you there haha.  Hope you like the outfit!

Boohoo #GlobalStyler // Reading!

Tee // Brand New merch
Necklaces // Tiffany, Regal Rose
Skirt* // BooHoo
Bag* // Marc B
Earrings* // Harts + Crosses
Coat* // Mary Jane Fashion
Tights // Primark
Spiked Coltranes // Jeffrey Campbell
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, market stalls, Native Feathers*

I was contacted in January by the lovely Rosie (who has an awesome blog, by the way!) and was asked to be a part of the Boohoo #GlobalStyler campaign, to which I obviously said HELLZ YEAH! ..Anyway, I scoured the website and eventually chose the item I wanted to represent, and it is this gorgeous burgundy cord skater skirt, an excellent dupe of the (seriously overpriced) American Apparel circle skirts.  It fastens with a zip and popper at the side which I love and fits like a glove, as well as being really good quality, and for £18 where can you go wrong?  I teamed it with my favourite Brand New tee which I cut up a while ago, thinking I'd ruined it but actually I really like how it turned out, and my houndstooth coat from Mary Jane fashion which is right on trend for the monochrome styles due to be big this spring!  I'm keeping my eye out for a black fur stole as I think it would go really well with it to change it up.  I've not seen anyone elses #GlobalStyler look yet but I'm keeping an eye out, can't wait to see what items they chose to style up!

HAUL // Brand Village / LYCD

LYDC Fringe shoulder bag* // Brand Village
Top // ZARA
Leggings // Black Milk
Creepers // Underground

I was lucky enough to be contacted by the lovely Kim about a sample from Brand Village.  Obviously I leaped at the opportunity and chose this gorgeous grey LYDC fringed shoulder bag and I love it.  You know the 'Mary Poppins' bags that everyone claims they have? This is one of them! I can literally fit everything in it and there are two compartments and a zip up pocket on the inside for storing keys and phones etc which I need because I am so rubbish with my phone.  All of my bags are either dainty little shoulder bags or big ass rucksacks so this was the perfect wardrobe addition and every girl should have one, and for £19.99 where can you go wrong?!

UO

So the time has come to reveal what was in my Urban Outfitters package in my Sunday Summary.  It's a satchel!  I bought it in the sale for just £22 plus postage and from the websites dimensions it would be the perfect size to have as a bag to use for college.  It arrived and I'm quite sad to say that I was a little disappointed.  The leather is pretty plasticy and the fabric seems a bit flimsy, plus it's too small to fit A4, contrary to the measurements online.  At least I didn't spend too much, and I guess I could use it as a casual going out bag, but I'm still gutted as I love the pattern.  I would give you the link to the listing but it's now sold out, sorry!

Backpack Backpack!

As some of you may know, I'm an avid eBay-er.  I'm always on there, attempting to find a bargain.  I've been thinking a lot about Reading Festival lately and decided that I just needed a rucksack, because in past years I've taken a shoulder bag or something and they get painful after a while and don't distribute the weight evenly, unlike rucksacks.  I bought this baby off eBay for £15.50 including postage.  It's quite a large amount for such a small thing but it's a one-off vintage, quality item and I'm pretty sure no one at the festival will have the same!  It'll also enable me to bring around my essentials, such as a camera, phone, money and a drink etc, without my shoulder feeling like it's about to fall off at the end of the day, can't wait until August 23rd!
