HAUL // To Die For Bikini

So with summer coming up I really wanted to share my brand new bikini with you guys!  It's from online shop To Die For and they do an incredible selection of holidaywear.  I picked the Sugar Daisy set because I'm really into neon at the moment, and it always makes the palest of skintones look that little bit more sunkissed.  To Die For are a Swedish brand who have a patented design, with the bikini bottoms designed to 'lift' your booty, to get a better fit, and can I tell you they are successful in their venture, the bikini looks amazing on! (although I'm afraid I'm not quite confident enough to show you guys).  The online shop has a range of this bikini in different colour combinations as well as other designs and some gorgeous swimsuits if bikini's aren't your thing.  Check out the shop here, which is your favourite item?

Missguided High Summer Holiday Preview Blogger Party

Goodie bag items c/o Missguided
Denim shorts // £19.99 // link
St Moriz tan // £2.99 // link
Nail Rock wraps in silver // £6.65 // link

So on Monday I attended the Missguided blogger party in London.  I got to meet the lovely stylist Sara, and made some new blogger friends, including Leanne, Georgina and Joanne.  Unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera with me (which is not like me at all!) so all of my photos are just from my instagram.  However, Joanne did a great post on it here, in which I feature and Lily Melrose also posted about it here, and I'm in one of her photos (fangirling!).  The venue was absolutely gorgeous, with antique furniture and I was greeted with a platter of mini food, followed with some strawberry and lime Kopparberg cider and alcoholic peanut butter milkshake which was divine!  The new collection has a couple of different themes - the first was monochrome with cut-out and sport-luxe detailing, then chiffon and decadent sequins, leading to beachy pastel ombre and finishing off with a rail of funky neon and graphic prints. See my Vine of the event here!

There was a room with photography equipment with a model and everyone got to pick an outfit for her to wear and you can see mine above.  They will all be entered into a competition so I'm excited to see everyone elses!  There was also a customisation station, which is where you could choose an item of Missguided clothing and decorate it how you like, with a selection of fabric pens, motifs and studs to choose from.  I wanted to keep it simple so just put some studs on the back pockets and an 'A' motif on the front, and I love the shorts, they fit perfectly!  So to finish, a huge thank you to all the Missguided team as well as B Public Relations for an awesome time, hope to meet you all again soon!

Found this Jack Daniels top on the floor at Reading! (ew)
I have somehow again gathered enough items to create a haul.  If you'd like this in video for I'll be happy to make a video but I feel not as many people watch them so it's unnecessary effort on my part.  In this haul is a mix of items I got from Reading Festival, my holiday in France, a giveaway win, and a big shop around Reading town centre.  I actually found the Jack Daniels top on the floor at Reading Festival and I've wanted a JW top for so long I couldn't pass it up, despite not knowing what it had been through, but it's been through the wash and is now mine all miney!

I was over the moon with the H&M collar I bought.  I was browsing through the jewellery section and found the collar on its own without any label or packaging on it, so I took it to the till (and told them I found it in the sale section) and they gave it to me for £1, bargain!

Lastly, I'm so happy I went to Primark before Topshop & Zara as I found the studded clutch dupe for just £6, and in the other shops it's usually around £40!  I'm glad that I didn't pay that much for it as I'm not really much of a clutch person; I've never owned or used one so I'm a little indifferent about it, especially as it's so big!

So what do you guys think of my purchases?

Roooadtriiiip!

If you're a follower of my Twitter or Instagram (amyvalentinex) you'll know that I went on a roadtrip this week with my two friends Polly & Loulie.  We went to stay at Polly's dads house in Raunds, Bedford and I had an awesome time.  Polly's dad is a totally awesome cook so I was so well fed and I got a little bit inappropriately drunk every night..oops.  The slightly random crossing photos are relevant - that crossing is actually the smallest pedestrian crossing in the UK so we had to do a Beetles/Abbey Road style photo which just turned out totally awkward.  It was such a great trip, and as soon as I pass my test we're all going to Manchester, woo!
