It's hard to be an artist, seeing as there are so many people out there that are doing the exact same thing as you with the same materials and possible more skill, therefore it can be difficult to 'make it'. However, I stumbled across Melissa's blog and her business, Paper Doll and was amazed. I have seen work like this before but her pieces are way above them. She uses watercolour, pencils and illustrating software together to create her amazing art and has even had her work featured in several magazines such as the Sunday Times 'Style' magazine. I'm so inspired by her work and am tempted to have my own attempt at watercolours, but it will definitely not be as incredible as this, kudos to you Melissa!
