So...oops, these photos were taken back in summer - bad blogger!  I so wish it was still warm enough to wear backless tops without having to worry about a layer - I am starting to feel a little festive but I'm not crazy about how cold it's getting!  Statement leggings are a staple for a lazy day outfit and these have evil pegasus on them, I mean it doesn't get cooler than that, right?  I thought I'd go with the dark vibe with my awesome pentagram cami and some purple docs, and voila - effortless and comfy!

PS. Pls ignore the creased top, didn't have time to iron!

Download Festival 2014 // Band Interviews, Live Sets etc.

I'm so behind on my YouTube videos (sorry guys!) but I finally got round to editing my Download Festival vlog thanks to a 4 hour train journey!  It includes a ton of band interviews as well as some live sets - I tried to keep live footage to a minimum as I know it may not be to everyone's taste!  All in all I had a really amazing time and hope you enjoy the vlog - my fave part is definitely the We Came As Romans interview at 14 minutes in, those guys are hilarious!

This dress could not have come into my life at a better time, as I watched The Great Gatsby not so long ago and absolutely fell in love with the wardrobe.  Although I'm no competition to the likes of Miss Daisy, this beaded number is still absolutely gorgeous.  I thought I'd add a modern touch with some clean black courts, and because longer dresses don't flatter me too well, I added a belt to hoick it up a little, although it fell a little bit for these photos unfortunately, so I don't have much waist definition!  TK Maxx are on point at the moment, whether you're looking for a glam, going out dress like this or something pretty for spring, they have tons of gorgeous dresses online at the mo' - my wishlist is endless!

I have literally been living in this top recently - it just goes with everything!  Hopefully you can't tell I was a little hungover when these photos were taken, this is my general feeling rubbish uniform; leggings, a slouchy top and dark sunglasses - nobody will know how much you drank last night.  Not too happy with these photos because they were taken at a train station with people watching and I felt awkward but hope you like them anyway!

Sorry for the sparse posts this week but I'm hoping to have posts back daily as of today!  I meant to post a haul on Tuesday but haven't had the time to sit down and get into it as it takes forever and as I mentioned I'm away in Bournemouth.  I'm actually so happy with how these photos turned out - they were taken in front of the garage doors at my Dads house and I'll definitely need to use that backdrop again!
I'm wearing my new jeans from New Look that are ridiculously comfortable and a perfect dupe for the American Apparel easy jeans, but a snip of the price at just £20!  I've also been wearing this Hero & Cape tee non-stop as it's so perfectly slouchy, it goes with everything and of course it's got one of my all time favourite movie quotes on it!
