Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani Palette

I've been an avid follower of Urban Decay for years, their Sustainable Palette was actually the first piece of 'proper' make-up I ever received, back in my scene days - and I've been using the Naked palettes since they launched back in 2010, still good as new!

I hadn't seen any sort of preview for the palette yet before I opened it, so it was honestly like Christmas, I had to run into the kitchen and show my flatmates as I was blown away by it!  There's no feeling like opening a sleek palette with a plethora of beautiful new shadows, knew it deserved a blog post!

Gwen Stefani is truly a fashion icon; constantly reinventing her look - I believe she was the perfect star to work with Urban Decay.  A true creative partnership - UD spent countless hours working closely with Gwen, to curate a collection of colours she's always wanted in a dream kit, named after parts of Gwen's history and her influences.  With 12 new shades exclusive to the palette, you don't want to miss out!

The palette is super wearable, with a plethora of beautiful nude shades in a mixture of matte, shimmer and glitter, as well as a pop of colour if you like it bright.  With the versatile pigments you can create anything from a light day look, to a dramatic smoky eye.  My favourites include 'Pop' on the lid, with 'Zone' in the crease and 'Punk' to grunge things up a little, with 'Blonde' as a highlight.

Alongside the palette, there is also a range of lipsticks available - I especially like the look of 'Rock Steady' and 'Firebird'!

The palette launched on November 22nd and is available on the Urban Decay website now for £40.  It's perfect for a Christmas gift, or to spoil yourself with; either way I bet this won't be around for long, so get your hands on it before it's all gone!

  1. Growing up in the early 2000's Gwen was my idol! (and maybe that's why my fashion choices might have been a bit...weird) However, this palette looks absolutely gorgeous! I can't see myself wearing the blue, but everything else is quite nice!
