Slam Dunk Festival 2016

If you follow my various social media platforms, you'll know that I attended Slam Dunk Festival at the end of last month - I've been twice before and the atmosphere is awesome, plus the line-up is always insane!

The festival is on at 3 locations over 3 days; this year I was lucky enough to attend both the Midlands and South date, which was honestly so cool, and perfect for band clashes, as I was definitely torn between Of Mice & Men and Panic at the Disco!  You can actually buy a Mega Ticket for all 3 sites at a discounted price so keep that in mind for next year!

Unfortunately my camera decided to corrupt most of my image files so I lost the awesome photos I took of the stages (cry), so you'll have to make do with this one photo I took on my phone of Blood Youth; they were so rad live and had a great turnout - definitely give them a listen if you're into high-energy hardcore with clean vocals - they're on the up!

Thankfully all the video files survived, so there's some awesome footage of the bands live in my vlog from the weekend below!

CREEPERS* // UNDERGROUND

Due to the aforementioned camera trouble, I only have an outfit pic from the Midlands site (as it was taken on my phone).  Not usually into blouses but I couldn't resist this snake print one - then the next day I wore a leopard print body - apparently v into my animal prints at the moment!

It was rad to chill with blogger babes Kayla and Zoe, as well as meet a ton of you guys; it's always so much fun having a lil' chat with you so never be shy to come and say hello!!

Favourite acts definitely included Northlane, Hacktivist, Memphis May Fire, OM&M, P!ATD, and of course Shikari Sound System.  This year's line-up has been the best in my opinion and I can't wait for the next one - bring on May 2017!!

Did any of you guys go to Slam Dunk this year?

  1. It would be interesting to see how the south and midlands compared - which did you prefer? I've been going to Slam Dunk south for years but went to the midlands this year for a change. PATD were epicccc, as were Shikari Sound System. I feel like the line up gets better every year!
