Reading Festival 2016

If you've been following me for a while you'll know that I've been to Reading Festival many a time - one of my all time faves!  As always, the line-up was incredible, with the likes of Foals, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Biffy Clyro headlining this year.  I had a total blast, so thought I'd share some of my memories from the weekend!

  

The highlights of Friday were definitely Die Antwoord, Twenty One Pilots, and Foals; the latter being my favourite of the weekend - they were just amazing live, definitely beat their performance last year, and lived up to the arena band expectation!

The weather was gorge all weekend - so nice to not have to worry about looming rainclouds, and it was lovely to hang out with blogger babes Charlotte, Zoe and Leanne!

Saturday started with a secret set from You Me At Six which was a fab surprise!  I've seen them an obscene amount of times as they were my fave band back in the day, but it was fab to see them perform some of their newer material (despite how much I love the TOYC hits).
Imagine Dragons are a band I've wanted to see for yonks and they definitely didn't disappoint, and of course Red Hot Chilli Peppers put on an great show; Ant's voice live is amazing!

Unfortunately I missed Black Foxxes on Sunday morning (3rd time it's happened fgs) but got to the arena in time for Sleeping With Sirens and the end of Waterparks - Mikey freakin' Way stepped in to play bass for them ahhh!!

Fall Out Boy brought the (literal) fire - loved their newer songs live, and then there were the clashes.  Biffy, Good Charlotte or The 1975.  I'm not too into the latter so it was mainly between the first two, but I went for Good Charlotte as I'm hoping to get tickets to Biffy's tour with Brand New, and my choice was definitely the right one!  They played all their hits from Young & Hopeless - couldn't have asked for a better end to the festival!

  

So sad to see another Reading Festival fly by, but stoked for next year as always!  Did any of you guys go?  Who were your fave acts?
