THE SILENCE // 2 LOOKS WITH ICE WATCH

As some of you may have noticed; my personal style is pretty varied.  One day I'll be wearing ripped jeans and an old band tee, the next I'll be dressed to the nines in a floor length ballgown.  I guess this is what has always drawn me to fashion - being able to decide who you want to be just by how you adorn your body.  For this reason, I'm so excited to be working with Ice-Watch on their latest campaign, #NaughtybutnICE - this focuses on two contrasting watches; white and black, so I styled them up in two different ways, to reflect both aspects of my style and personality.

The first look features the white watch, so I went for a dusty pink skater dress to go for a more girly look, but kept in line with my personal style by adding fishnets, chunky boots and of course, a leather jacket.  I felt very 'blogger' in this get-up, especially with the flowers and coffee-in-the-window shots.  This was a productive day so I guess this outfit represents my good intentions; trying to be a consistent blogger, whilst attempting a first class degree in my final year at university and attempting to keep my social life in doing so.

I've been wanting to show off my amazing black vinyl dress for so long, so the black watch outfit was perfect to do so.

This look is a darker with heavier, grungy makeup - the perfect Hyde to my Jekyll.  Finished off with a faux fur coat, the textures all work so well together.  I guess this look could stand for my 'naughty' tendencies; I am the procrastination queen - I put off a lot to the last minute and can't ever keep my room tidy.  This look is my 'should have been putting together a uni presentation but was playing ukulele for 6 hours instead' and my 'I can't be arsed to cook so Supernoodles for dinner will be fine'.

We all have our good and bad sides, and that's the general gist of what I'm drivelling about - I thought it was a fun opportunity to prove that despite everyone's seemingly 'perfect' Instagram feed, there's a lot more behind the screen - no one lives their life purely in bright white flat-lays and fancy afternoon tea restaurants!

Thanks to Ice-Watch to working with me on this post - I wanna hear from you guys; what are your 'naughty' and 'nice' sides?  And of course, which look is your favourite?

AMY X
