To celebrate International Women's Day last week, Vans held a girls only skate camp, and very kindly invited me along, so of course I had to bring along the video camera.  House of Vans is one of my favourite spaces in London; it's so damn big and there's always so much going on!  As you can see from the video, I'm as much use as a baby giraffe on the skateboard, so after a few attempts I migrated to the many stalls being hosted by illustrators and vendors.  I spent far too long perfecting a collage book and a custom tee (quote by Wasted Rita).

It was seriously cool to be surrounded by so many rad females - there was a real sense of community, I felt tremendously proud to be a part of it, regardless of my skating abilities.  House of Vans regularly host girls only skate events so definitely go along if you're interested, and make sure you have a watch of the video below!
