Reading Festival Highlights

As many of you will know, I was at Reading festival this weekend just gone and I took my Dads mini Flip Camera, which was one of the best decisions I've ever made!  It's so small yet records good quality videos and the sounds are amazing.  I had over an hour of footage when we got back and I managed to compile it into just under 8 minutes in a little highlights video shown above, hope you like it, I'd love to hear what you think.  I also have 3 disposable cameras that I need to get developed, so stay tuned for a huuuuge photography post!

Charity Shop Buys!

I was in town yesterday and decided to pop into one of the charity shops.  I managed to pick up three awesome things in a tiny amount of time and am so happy with what I got!  I got the (brand new!) white knit jumper for £4, the real leather jacket for £8.75 and the brand new H&M drawstring bag for £1.50!  They're probably some of the best I've found, especially in one shop!  The jacket seemed a bit pricey at the time, but when I showed my mum after I bought it she was amazed that it was going so cheap as it's a proper vintage biker jacket, in really good condition.  You can also see my dip dyed hair in these photos, this is the result of two washes, the pink has completely vanished (after just one wash!) and the purple has faded a little, and is verging on blue, but I will be re-dyeing it tomorrow so I can wear my extentions again! (I dip dyed my extentions pink & purple too so I can only wear them when my hair matches)

I also bought some Doc Marten boots yesterday to wear for college as my favourite black boots broke, and I've got really flat feet, so need shoes with proper support rather than flimsy dolly shoes, but we went into TK Maxx afterwards and found some nicer boots, for cheaper so I will be returning the Docs!  It's probably not a bad decision, as I was a little iffy about wearing the docs, as they are so clunky and large.  I'll maybe do a post on the chosen boots soon, and they will definitely feature in a good few outfit posts! (:

PS: I'm getting my hair dyed even lighter again today! eeeeeee

GCSE Results (late!)

I know it's like a week late, but I've been so busy that I haven't been able to make a post about results.  I went to collect them last thursday, expecting the worst, as I didn't think I had done very well at all, but was very pleasantly surprised with what I got!  I got 3 A*'s, 5A's and 2 B's so I'm over the moon.  My Dad took me out for lunch to celebrate straight after and said that he will put a little money towards my car when I turn 17, my Mum bought me some delicious Hotel Chocolat buttons, and my Grandparents sent me a cute card with £40!  Not the reaction I was expecting but I'm not complaining.  I went to my 6th form induction today as well and confirmed my choices which was a little scary.  I also got my student card which I may or may not post to my Twitter in a while, as it's so hideous!  I have an induction day next week and I start properly on the 12th, this summer has passed so quickly, it's actually pretty depressing!
Note: I hope this post didn't sound too boasty, just thought I'd share what I got!

Wednesday Want Week 23: SmilingSilverSmith

I stumbled upon the SmilingSilverSmith shop yesterday and just had to do a feature on it.  You may know that I'm a complete sucker for jewellery, especially rings so to me, this shop has it all.  I've not seen anything like these kind of rings before and considering what they are, they aren't actually too pricey.  They may have a custom from me pretty soon! As always, click on each picture for the listing and click here for the shop!

Giveaway Winner

So it's been just about a month since my giveaway has been going but the time has come to finally announce a winner!  I got 129 entries altogether, which is a whole lot more than I expected! I used random.org to choose a winner, which turned out to be Beth from Ramz & the Flock!  I have e-mailed the winner, but if I don't have a response within the next week or so I will draw another.  For now, well done Beth!

Also, I know I'm really behind, and I still haven't done a Sunday summary post yet, but they will follow. I was at Reading Festival from Wednesday until yesterday and I'm still recovering! Posts will be back to normal pretty soon (:
