So this is the first of a couple of different Halloween themed outfits for my blog!  I was asked to style up a piece from the Missguided Sweet Deal collection so went for a simple bardot dress, thinking I'd do some kind of vampire or witch look.  I wanted to strike a balance between a costume and an actual fashionable outfit so kept it simple, with some halloweeny accessories.  I love the shape of this off the shoulder dress, and if you take away the chain and broomstick (and maybe add some more winter appropriate tights) it's a simple and wearable ensemble!

I was gifted this gorgeous Bill + Mar sample dress to photograph for an outfit and I'm gutted I couldn't keep it!  It's such lovely quality and so flattering, although it was quite big, may have had to use some bulldog clips to pull it in!  I wanted to go all out gothic queen so donned the spiky shoes, chunky rings and flower crown (that always makes me feel all Lana Del Rey!).  I love the simple silhouette of this dress and cheeky step detailing, it's a mini and a maxi all in one!

BLEACH LONDON 'Super Cool Colour' Launch Party

Last week I was lucky enough to be one of the bloggers to attend the Bleach London launch party for their new range of home hair dyes now available in Boots.  With my pink locks, I blended right in with the blur of bloggers and stylists, almost all rocking some kind of coloured tresses.  When I arrived I was greeted with Lola's Cupcakes and what I thought were demo models, until I realised all the bloggers were getting their hair done!  Now I've been there done that with the whole dip dye thing, but watching everyone else getting kaleidoscope hair left mine looking lacklustre so I had an inky dip dye while I was there!  I got Bruised Violet and since I've washed my hair twice and it's still going strong.

If you're feeling a bit bored with your current hair situation, semi-permanent dyes are definitely the way to go - adding a pop of colour can change it up just enough to give a confidence boost while keeping it temporary and not too wild.  Bleach have also brought out dip dye and lightening kits for if you have darker hair and want to go colourful.

Anyway - a huge thank you to all of the Bleach team for putting on a great event, keep up the good work and thank you so much for my purple locks and also for the bottle of dye, I'll be using 'The Big Pink' to refresh my colour from now on!

Okay so I am just the worst blogger at the moment - I'm so sorry!  I'm trying to catch up on posts as much as I can but it's so difficult to find the time at the moment, there just aren't enough hours in a day!
I looove this dress so much, the print is gorgeous and it swings down so nicely, and this cardigan is so ridiculously soft that I've been wearing it with everything, the perfect autumn layer.  As for the bag - today I am over to moon to be able to say that this has not been borrowed from my mums wardrobe, it's actually all miney mine!  It was one of my birthday presents and it's definitely an investment piece, I'll still be rocking it in my 70's for sure!
