Now that my boyfriend lives in London, it means I get a chance to explore fun new locations to shoot outfits - unfortunately with it being winter it starts getting dull at 2pm, so despite the fact I lugged three fabulous outfits in my suitcase this weekend, I didn't get the chance to shoot even one of them, slightly soul-destroying.  Luckily I have these photos from the the other day that I can post instead!  

If you know anything about my style, you'll probably be able to tell that I don't believe in having a 'summer/winter' wardrobe - part of the fun of styling outfits is the challenge of how to make items weather appropriate, why shouldn't I be able to wear my pretty new playsuit when it's cold? I'm no layering queen, but I was pretty proud when I slung on my fishnet top and it looked half-decent, plus with my fave OML jacket I was super toasty for the harsh streets of London!  What do you do to winter-ify summer pieces?

As you may be able to tell from the stamp on my hand, these photos were taken the morning after a night out - hence the sunglasses!  I actually took these while I was in Bournemouth at a little church, but unfortunately couldn't get any of the churchy bits in - so instead have a skanky brick wall.  The print on this tee is perfect for adding a splash of colour to an all black outfit, and it's super comfy so perfect for a hangover!  I feel as if I've been posting waaay too many hungover outfit posts recently; it's been a hectic few weeks but I now have tonsillitis so no drinking, let alone moving from my bed, for the next little while!

Despite feeling awful after a night out, Jess and I decided we should probably make the most of being in Bournemouth, so we went on a little walk-about adventure.  I scouted out this pretty monochrome background and we popped into a couple of charity shops then had a bit of lunch, nothing too taxing...but I digress - onto the outfit.

Everything is good in moderation; double denim being one of those things, and I like to think I did well with this combination.  I seem to like items of clothing with insults emblazoned on the front so the subtle take on that with this tee from The Orphan's Arms fits right into my wardrobe, and is slightly more poetic then my 'I HATE YOU' tee.

I also thought I'd add in one of the photos me and Jess got together because we're cute like that.  Today is her birthday so pop over to her Instagram (@JessLester) to give her a follow and a happy birthday and make my best friends day (:

I have literally been living in this top recently - it just goes with everything!  Hopefully you can't tell I was a little hungover when these photos were taken, this is my general feeling rubbish uniform; leggings, a slouchy top and dark sunglasses - nobody will know how much you drank last night.  Not too happy with these photos because they were taken at a train station with people watching and I felt awkward but hope you like them anyway!

You may notice that I'm in a vast sea of nothingness in this post - that's because these photos were taken when I attended the Boohoo TV ad shoot which was a massive room of white, so when they moved to a different area me and Kayla had a quick outfit shoot!  They were taken on my mums Samsung Galaxy camera so the quality isn't the same as my SLR but I'm pretty happy with them nonetheless!

Onto the outfit anyway - this top has gone straight into my collection of favourites because it's so soft and comfortable and the print is so rad; Gypsy Warrior literally do the best clothes so I'd definitely recommend checking them out!  As I was in London I thought I'd layer up with this old Lip Service fishnet top I got from ebay and actually like how the two tops blend together seamlessly, and it did it's job by keeping me warm.  Last but certainly not least is the holographic skirt - a statement skirt but really easy to wear, plus it's a whole lot cheaper than the one that was being sold in Topshop not long ago.  You can dress it up or down and makes a nice change from the dark colours in my wardrobe!

CageCity Meets Photoshoot

Last week I was lucky enough to get to spend a day with the lovely ladies at CageCity!  For all of you that may not know - CageCity stock a couple of my favourite brands including MinkPink, Evil Twin, StyleStalker and Finders Keepers, as well as supporting up-and-coming designers, so have a really unique range of clothing you won't find anywhere else!  I was a little overwhelmed at first as I picked out so many pieces I wanted to style but I whittled it down and I'm really happy with how the looks turned out.  I think my favourite outfit has got to be the last photo, such an awesome jacket (coming soon for SS14!) and the skirt fit me like a glove, although I adored the leggings in the second photo!

I feel as if I haven't posted a look featuring denim shorts in ages so here you go!  I look a little hunched over and of course the bitchface has made an appearance but I didn't take too many photos on this shoot so thought I'd use them anyway haha.  I love the cut of the crop top and this coat is so soft I can't even put it into words - I thought it would be the kind of matted plastic fur but it's the total opposite, definitely going to become a winter staple!

Yes these photos were taken around Halloween time which is why I'm wearing the kitty ears, but lets just ignore that and focus on this gorgeous dress!  Evil Twin never disappoint; the velvet burnout detail is so unique, and the neck cutouts give it an alien-esque touch so I thought I'd pair it with my super high damsels which haven't seen my blog for a little while now!
