VLOG // Boohoo Photoshoot & Cinderela B Jewellery Workshop

I know I'm pretty late posting this video but I was so disorganised in the Christmas period that I kept putting it off! Anyway, in December I popped into London to met up with Rosie, Kayla and Natasha and first went for a bite to eat in the Earlham Street Clubhouse in Covent Garden.  The pizzas were huge and tasted amazing, and were actually really inexpensive, will definitely be going there again!  We then went to the Boohoo TV ad shoot where I got a glimpse of the new collection (available online now) and it was really interesting to see the behind the scenes of how advertisements are made.  The technique I thought was the coolest was definitely the semi-circle of cameras which all took a photo at the same time so in the advert it'll show a frozen 360 of the model - I can't even imagine how much the equipment must have cost!
After mooching around for a little while it was time to go to the Cinderela B event; luckily we all went together (apart from Rosie who had to get the train back to Manchester, boo!) and soon arrived in the quaint little Cinderela B showroom.  As you can see from my vlog the jewellery displays were adorable and there was a bench that we all sat round and made jewellery on.  We made two pieces; one to keep and one to give away on our blogs.  I made a three tier necklace and a bracelet which I am giving away here!
I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Boohoo & Cinderela B for organising awesome events and most of all for inviting me along, I had a great time and hopefully I'll be living in London as of September so expect more of these kinds of posts!

CONFUSING WHAT IS REAL

Beanie* // STAG Clothing
Coat* // OASAP
Necklace* // Kukee
Jumper* // The Hut
Shorts* // SheInside
Socks // Topshop
Boots* // Missguided
Rings // Rachel Sudlow, Jana Reinhardt*, Dixi*, market

This has got to be my favourite set of photos with my new studio lights (yes I know I keep going on about them, but I'm just so chuffed I got some!) despite my unavoidable bitchface.  I feel I post a lot of outfits that aren't necessarily something I'd wear on a daily basis, but I don't think fashion blogging is about everyday looks - I look to bloggers for inspiration on how to wear certain pieces and that's what I try to do myself.  This look, however, is something I would happily go out shopping in, perhaps with another layer added in for good measure because I'm a right wuss when it comes to the cold!  Raglan is one of my favourite styles but sometimes comes across too masculine, so having it on the form of this cropped knit jumper from The Hut is perfect, and under a tenner so you can't go wrong really!

Cinderela B Bracelet Giveaway

a Rafflecopter giveaway
Before Christmas I had the opportunity to attend a little Cinderela B jewellery making workshop. While I was there I made two pieces of jewellery, one for myself and one to give away to you guys so here I am!  I wanted to post this in December but I couldn't find the time so think of this as a late Christmas present!
I have a vlog of the day which I'll hopefully be able to post soon which shows the making of the bracelet - all the metal is real silver plated and the beads are Jasmine (I think!) and it was designed and made completely by me so it's totally unique!  Just enter using the Rafflecopter widget above & good luck!
(Giveaway open internationally!)

LOST IN A VALLEY OF SMOKE

Hat // Topshop
Earrings* // Chelsea Doll
Jacket* // SheInside
Necklace* // Chelsea Doll
Top* // ARK
Leggings* // Missguided
Boots * // ARK
Rings // Rachel Sudlow, market, Native Feathers*, market, vintage

No your eyes do not deceive you, I am wearing trousers, although they're pretty much leggings - I'll venture into the trousery world soon enough!  I'm loving the whole dogstooth/plaid trend lately and actually have a skirt on its way to me in the same print - it's so easy to wear and perfect to break up an all black outfit.  In this case though, I thought I'd team them with my velvet crop top, I love the lace detail and you can never go wrong with velvet (although emphasizes my awkwardly sticky-outy hipbones, doh!).

GLITTER GALAXY

Earrings* // Daisy Mae Jewellery via The Blogger Programme
Necklace* // Kukee
Jumper* // Pussycat London
Dress* (worn as skirt) // Ark
Shoes* // Dolcis
Rings // Persunmall*, Regal Rose, Kukee*, Dixi*, market, market
Lips // Mac 'Boyfriend Stealer'

I think I'm kind of getting used to my studio lights, yay!  I love how the glittery jumper goes with the galaxy dress and a slick of dark lipstick brings it all together, a perfect transitional look with a coat thrown on top!
