EMPTY HEARTS & EMPTY PLACES

Fishnet top // Casall
Bandeau (underneath) // eBay
Dungarees* // Drop Dead
Spiked Damsels // Jeffrey Campbell
Necklace // Tiffany
Earrings* // Paccony
Bracelet* // Native Feathers
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, Henryka*, market, market, Etsy, vintage

Apologies for making so many of my titles BMTH lyrics, but I thought it would be very appropriate for this look, as this outfit features a piece from the brand new Drop Dead summer 2013 line!  It was hard to choose my favourite item from the line - but I eventually chose these as I thought they were a nice contrast from the ditsy pinafores going round at the moment.  I love the pentagrams embroidered all over and the material is really soft & stretchy, not to mention the amazing fit! I got a size S if anyone wants to know - I've had a couple of people ask for reference, and I often find it helpful to know how the sizing is with different pieces/brands.  I did wear a blue tie dye tee with the dungarees on my instagram which I liked a lot but I thought I'd go for a simple silhouette and don my fishnet top, which, fun fact; is a gym top from my mums wardrobe..yep.  Anyway I hope you guys all like the outfit, I know it's one of my favourites!  What are your thoughts on the new summer line?

WE WILL BECOME SILHOUETTES

Crop top* // Pretty Disturbia
Belt // Primark
Dungarees // Rokit
Socks* // OASAP
Creepers // Underground
Earrings // ASOS
Necklace // Next
Bracelet* // OASAP
Rings // Market, H&M, ?, Harts + Crosses*, IRIDESCENT

So looking back at this look all I have in my head is 'hillbilly chic'.  Whether this is a good or bad thing I'm unsure but I thought I'd post it anyway!  I'm not usually one for the gold jewellery but I gave it a go with this outfit and finally got to feature my new octopus ring from H&M.  I'm also rocking my Pretty Disturbia crop top with a rad blurred flower print, and I've actually had this pair of dungarees for around a year now and it honestly escapes me how I haven't featured it in an outfit post yet.  I got it from Rokit vintage and although it's a little big I love it to pieces and it's so versatile, you can literally wear it with anything!

Paris tee // Unknown
Dungarees* // Motel Rocks
Belt // Mums
Bracelet* // Delilah Dust
Doc Martens // Mums

Oooh Amy in flats again, the horror!  I got a lot of comments after I posted my look featuring the unicorn jumper and flat shoes, not necessarily mean ones, but because a lot of you probably haven't seen me without sky high spiky heels it may have come as a bit of a shock!  It took me ages to figure out which shoes went with this ensemble until I borrowed my mums Doc Martens and thought they went alright.  I love the dungarees, it's lightweight so perfect for the summer and because it's pastel and patterned it's fun to experiment with different tops to wear underneath. What do you think of the outfit, how would you style the dungarees?

HAUL // Motel Rocks & Spring Fever with Palmers

All items c/o Motel Rocks.

Both Palmers items c/o Motel Rocks

Brenda fishnet dress // £45 // Motel Rocks

Demi paisley dungarees // £48 // Motel Rocks

I literally cannot express how in love I am with Motel Rocks' new line, the paisley and monochrome designs are so awesome, and I'm over the moon with the two items I got.  The Brenda fishnet dress is lined which saves me having to find a dress to wear underneath, but has an open back which is so feminine and flattering which I really love.  As for the dungarees, the possibilities of styling it up are endless!  The print is so dainty and I feel the piece really modernises the traditional porcelain design.

I also received some Palmers goodies with my items, and they both smell incredible!  The lip balm is cherry and chocolate scented, with a pretty red tint to it, and not to mention it tastes really good (although I don't think eating it is the best idea).  The gradual tanning moisturiser is right up my street, in that I'm not really a big fan of using self tanners, purely because of the countless bad experiences I've had with fake tan!  This moisturiser smells delicious and will get my legs nice and brown for the upcoming summer!

Finally, I will be attending the Motel Rocks A/W 13 press day on Wednesday so if you're going to be there as well feel free to tweet me, I'd love to meet some new bloggers!  If you're going to be there make sure you say hi as well, I don't bite! :D
