ILLUMINATE THE NIGHT

Dress* // Siren London
Spiked Damsels // Jeffrey Campbell
Clutch* // Persunmall
Earrings // New Look
Bracelet // Thomas Sabo
Rings // Persunmall*, market, Lumafina, ebay

I'm trying to keep up with blogging and everything properly but it's so hard, I hate posting in the night time as I feel less people see it, waaa.  I want to focus a little more on my YouTube as I love making videos and I've had good feedback from the vlog I posted the other day.  I also hit 3000 subscribers which I'm mega excited about and thank you to all the people that watch my crappy awkward videos, I am trying to make them better so bear with me for now!

PLAY CRACK THE SKY

Hat // Topshop
Jacket* // Boohoo
Tee* // P&Co
Shorts // DIY
Shoes // Deena & Ozzy
Earring // Etsy
Bracelet // Thomas Sabo
Necklace // Tiffany
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, Thriftette*, Native Feathers*, Lumafina, market, market

Okay so I may or may not be totally obsessed with this pork pie hat.  I actually bought it for my friend for her birthday but borrowed it and now do not want to ever give it back (sorry Polly).  I went for a 'wild west' look, however replacing a cowboy hat with a more..socially acceptable shape and disregarding dusty browns for mostly monochrome then to finish; a slick of red lipstick.  I adore the minimalistic print on this P&Co tee and find it so easy to wear with anything - and after seeing Leanne style this fringe jacket makes me want to wear mine with every outfit.  Apologies if this post doesn't make a lot of sense - I'm trying to type while watching my boyfriend play 'The Last Of Us' and it's such a scary game!

THEY PAINTED US WITH GUILT

Top* // Cut & Sew
Leggings // Black Milk
Spiked Damsels // Jeffrey Campbell
Earrings // New Look
Necklace // DIY
Arm cuff // Vintage
Rings // Rachael Sudlow, Thriftette*, Gift, Lumafina, market, vintage

So I finally have gotten round to taking photos in my amazing Black Milk leggings!  Black Milk is definitely one of my most favourite brands, like, ever.  I bought the leggings little while ago and made a video about the other leggings that came with them which you can see here.  But just a warning - customs charges are pretty ridiculous!  I do find them quite hard to style sometimes so this awesome slash back top from Cut & Sew goes perfectly, especially as it's more of an earthy charcoal rather than black.  Anyway, I have to dash off to work now so hope you like the look!

PERFECT EYES WILL HAVE PERFECT HATE

Dress* // Jovani rented from Wish Want Wear
Shoes // River Island
Rings // Lumafina & Vivienne Westwood

Needless to say I felt like a total Hollywood movie star in this dress!  I was kindly rented it by the team at Wish Want Wear and it has got to be the most stunning dress I've ever put on.  The designer is Jovani and after loving this one so much I looked up other designs and they are so gorgeous, although the price tag isn't so great!  This particular dress is currently £110 to rent on the site, and considering the RRP of the dress is £972 I think paying that amount to rent it for an event is a very fair price.  If I was going to the leavers ball at my sixth form I can honestly say that I would rent out a dress for the night, rather than spending a ton of money on a dress that I'm going to wear once, then just have to give away or sell for nothing after having it hanging around for ages.  With renting, you can have a dress that is a big cut above the rest, while saving money! I would definitely check out the rest of the range of designer dresses as there are some gorgeous pieces, and a lot are cheaper to rent than this one.

All you do is organise the designated dates you would like the dress, then it is sent out to you for free with a pre-paid envelope.  When you are finished with the dress simply pop it in the envelope and take it to the post office.  You don't need to have the dress dry cleaned at all, it's as simple as that!
What do you think?  Would you ever try designer dress hire?
