On thursday I was lucky enough to attend the exclusive preview of F&F's spring/summer 2014 collection with the lovely Kristiana. On entering the space it was already clear there was a party theme going on, with bright streamers dripping from the ceiling and pattern-clad walls. From the clothes it is clear that the collection is heavily inspired by the party life of Rio, Brazil; inviting the creativity and energy of the culture into every detail. The rails were filled with a plethora of different styles, featuring clashing prints, cut outs and neon mixed with monochrome aztec patterns, with forms suitable for all ages. As well as the party styles, there were also rails filled with pastels and neutrals featuring soft feminine shapes and 50's hourglass dresses, and of course I can't leave out the bold structured pieces, giving a sharp citrus edge.
As a whole the collection felt super luxe and best of all, everything was priced so affordably, I know I'll definitely be reserving some time for the clothing section next time I go to Tesco! I also vlogged the whole day I went to this event so click here to watch it!
