I've never been particularly good at the whole boho trend, despite absolutely adoring the style so when challenged with styling this blue tie dye number from MinkPink I was a little at a loss.  I just don't own enough fringing or pretty kimonos to go boho so I went a little sporty with a tee underneath and a pair of my mums trainers and am pretty happy with how the look turned out.  Not too much of a signature look of mine but definitely one of the more wearable ones, and a blog is about personal style - as much as I'd like to be I'm not always dressed to the nines!

CageCity Meets Photoshoot

Last week I was lucky enough to get to spend a day with the lovely ladies at CageCity!  For all of you that may not know - CageCity stock a couple of my favourite brands including MinkPink, Evil Twin, StyleStalker and Finders Keepers, as well as supporting up-and-coming designers, so have a really unique range of clothing you won't find anywhere else!  I was a little overwhelmed at first as I picked out so many pieces I wanted to style but I whittled it down and I'm really happy with how the looks turned out.  I think my favourite outfit has got to be the last photo, such an awesome jacket (coming soon for SS14!) and the skirt fit me like a glove, although I adored the leggings in the second photo!

Ooh look at me getting all autumnal and weather appropriate.  This jumper is going to be a huge part of my winter wardrobe as it's super warm and cosy and I can wear it with anything, even as a dress as it's so long!  This Marc B bag is also going to be permanently glued to my arm as it's the perfect size for everything I think I need to carry around with me, and it even comes with a shoulder strap for when it's all got too much and it feels like your arm is going to fall off.  Anyway I'm just typing out everything my brain is burbling out and probably isn't making much sense as I've been playing Animal Crossing all day and all I can think of is catching fish and how on earth I'm going to pay off my 200,000 house expansion loan..#animalcrossingproblems.  Anyway, if any of you guys have Animal Crossing feel free to tweet me your friend codes - mines already on my twitter! It took me a while so get round to actually writing the text to go with this post due to the fact I was jamming out to Queen full blast in my room (don't act like you don't do it).  I received this MinkPink dress last month and it's so lovely, I thought it would be a bit of a pink overload but I like how the photos turned out, although it is a shame that for some reason I think I'm a lot bigger than I am and order larger dress sizes, resulting in this dress being too long for me - and that's impressive considering how tall I am (5' 10" if you're wondering).  I thought I might as well go for the boho look so piled on the jewellery and donned a floral crown, I just wish I had some brown heeled sandals, as black doesn't quite go but when I wore brown flats I looked so short!  Ah well, off I go to dance to some more Queen, hope all you english types are making the most of mr sun!

I love this ombre MinkPink dress - I think it's perfect for summer and I love the seafoam green colour mixed with the white.  I received a collar from Soomin recently and thought the deep green and purple hues with a touch of canary yellow would go great with the dress so I clipped it on over the collar of the dress for a more personal, customised touch!  However, these photos really don't do the collar justice - the patterns are so intricate and beautiful, and there are so many other beautiful designs so I would highly recommend checking out the shop!

ASOS Wants // My Stock Stalker

        
I recently discovered a website called My Stock Stalker.  Don't be alarmed at the name, it's nothing dodgy, it's in fact a website that finds discounted items for you, so you don't have to do the work!  The website is really simple and easy to use, all you have to do is paste a link into the 'stalk item' page and input a price that you'd like to pay for the item.  When the item is reduced you then get an email automatically sent to your inbox so you get a bargain, and first dibs on the cheap price! Best idea ever? I think so.  So far the website supports brands like Asos, New Look and Amazon, amongst many others for different things, like computers etc.  I think it's a brilliant idea and is really going to help me out, both with money, and remembering which website I found which items of clothing on!  I would definitely recommend giving it a go, it may not show anything instantly, but may find you some good bargains in the near future!  For more information on the website you can watch the video above or just go check it out for yourself!
