I've entered a significant amount of giveaways recently but I never thought I would win anything, as so many others enter and the odds of me winning are very small. However, the Wallpaper Rose blog held a first birthday giveaway a few weeks back and obviously I entered, being a huge fan of their stuff. I didn't win the main giveaway prizes but I did, however, win the runners up prize, which was still really awesome! It all arrived this morning and I'm so pleased with it. I won a gorgeous turban headband from Crown and Glory and from Wallpaper Rose, a beautiful vintage lace necklace and a pocket mirror and badge. I also got a handwritten postcard congratulating me on my win. I'd like to add, the packaging was adorable! I almost didn't want to unwrap it, and you'll see the different stages above, wanted to show you everything. Sad I know but you can't top brown paper and ribbon!

Sunday Summary Week 8
1/ The other morning, 6 parcels arrived!
2/ Went to London and saw a protest going on (for international rights I think)
3/ Got bored and drew on a unicorn tattoo
4/ Crash diet for prom, drink as much water as possible in attempt to clear up skin
5/ Notifications!
6/ Got my new passport, the picture is hideous but I love the design, so pretty!
Things I loved this week:
1/ This video of a cat barking, so funny!
2/ This feature on the worlds largest kinetic toothpick sculpture!
3/ If you're a pokénerd like me, you'll love this pokemon merger!
As you can see I have added a little extra to my Sunday summary post, the 'Things I loved this week' which I thought was necessary as I want to share these little things with you guys, as they may be a little small to do a full on post about.
Today is prom, so I've been super busy organising myself, and am really nervous, and still don't know what shoes I will wear with my dress, as at this moment in time I have actually bought three potential pairs! What really sucks, is that they are all so high that they make me just that inch taller than my date, which is pretty annoying, I hate being tall!

Shoe Haul
River Island duplicates, £9.95 eBay (link)
Leopard Platforms, £7.99 eBay (link)
Huge pink platforms, £34.99 eBay (link)
Nude stud shoes, £30 River Island
I've been so obsessed with shoes lately! I got some amazing River Island duplicate sandals from eBay and they are spot on! They are however a little bit small, so I've got blisters in between my toe where the thong bit goes but I'll have to get over it. I'm completely broke, but I can't seem to decide on which shoes I want to wear to prom out of the three heels shown above. I am wearing a light pink dress, and as they are so high, they make me taller than my date! However, the studded ones are the lowest, so at the moment I'm leaning towards that pair. I bet you're wondering where my Louboutins are that I posted about before? Well we placed the order only to find out that the parcel would never arrive before prom, so there was no point in spending all that money, so we cancelled the order which I was really sad about. Also, in last weeks sunday summary I blogged that I found stud shoes but they only had them in a 5 and I'm a 7. Hoorah! I have found some 7's in a different River Island store and they were reduced from £60 to £30, yesss! I'd really like to know your opinion, which shoes should I wear?

USA
First off, apologies for the sheer ridiculousness of these photos, typical drunken teen party haha. I've left out most of the horrendous ones, with a few left in, to show you the costumes and stuff. The theme was American college and I dressed as a basketball player! There were a few really cool costumes, for example, there were several cheerleaders, sportsmen as well as a Pamela Anderson and David à la Baywatch. I'm not quite sure how that relates to American high school, but nevertheless they were great costumes! I will say, however, that the best part of the night for me was actually the walk home. I lived really near to the venue so we walked, semi drunk back home, deciding to have a plankathon, where we basically planked on everything worth planking on. If you don't know what planking is, it's where one puts themself in a somewhat awkward place, and stays completely rigid and straight, arms by their side. Ours weren't really great, considering the alcohol consumed, but they're still pretty funny. They are not really blog material though, and would look messy so if you want to see them, click read more below!

SHAARAAANN
Wow, can I just say, I have soooo much going on at the moment! I spent the day in London today and it was really fun. I didn't exactly keep to my budget, as Camden is one of my biggest weaknesses, but I don't regret it, as I bought some pretty cool stuff. We went to Camden as soon as we got there, and me and my friend Loulie faffed about at the sunglasses stall for quite a while. Sunglasses were £5 each and I bought the chunky ray bans, then we both bought matching 'ozzy' glasses, wandering round calling 'SHAARAAAN'. It was rather amusing, but I guess you had to be there. I also popped into a little side shop called Radiobot. I've come across their stuff before at the clothes show live, and I do believe then have an online site here. I bought the vest top as I've been looking for something like this for a while and I like the cut, as it kind of curves up either side which is quite flattering, plus it was a good price, at £14. Lastly I was forced into buying the blue pearl rosary, as I was just browsing a stall when the merchant came over and started selling it to me, starting the price at £12, then as I kept refusing, but he kept reducing until we got to £4, when I couldn't be bothered to argue any more, as at this point he had already actually put it on me. I hate salespeople like that! I guess I do quite like the necklace though. After Camden we went to the Drop Dead store again, which we went to before on the opening day, but never managed to go in, so we did today and I must say, I was kind of disappointed, as the design of the shop is amazing, but they only had one of each item out, so you would have to bring the item of clothing to a sales assistant, for them to go to the stock room to go and find you your size. I bought the rubber wristband that says LIVE FAST DROP DEAD on it, which was only a fiver, so that wasn't too bad.
All in all it was an amazing day, and I've now got the weekend to look forward to! My best friend is coming back from Australia tomorrow morning and we're getting our nails done for prom and having a shop around Camberley, then in the evening we have an american college themed party which should be great. Then the next day we have prom, and I really can't wait! I'll definitely make a post on what I wear to the party and you'll probably see many many pictures of me at prom. I also have so many other posts lined up as well, so look forward to a post overload pretty soon. Also, congratulations if you read all of this, kudos to you for being a true follower!
