So this beauty turned up in my post the other day and I literally had to sit down and compose myself (and instagram it) before I tried it on, is that sad?  I'm so so happy with it and because it has long sleeves and the fabric is thick, it's perfect for christmas/new years parties.  I've already worn it out to a party and the motel rocks event (which I'll post about tomorrow) but will definitely be posting an outfit post featuring it soon so stay tuned!

So I've been a little behind with outfit posts recently but I'm trying my best to catch up, it's just so difficult with it being winter, as when I leave in the morning it's dark and when I arrive home it's dark, so I can't take any photos that don't look atrocious.  Anyway, I was over the moon to be gifted this tee from Missguided as I've loved their stuff for a long time now and after seeing their Christmas advert I literally want everything from their site!  I got this skirt from the American Apparel flea market (haul post here) and it was such a bargain considering how much it is usually and I love the fit and shape of it, and even though high socks are a little unrealistic with the wintery weather at the moment, I couldn't resist!

I can't believe how fast this week has gone!  It's getting to critical UCAS deadline stage and I am so nervous, I need to write my personal statement and I keep procrastinating and getting more and more worried.  Does anyone have any tips on PS writing, or ideas of what to include/personal experiences? Anyway enough with me panicking, I've been invited to the Motel Rocks Christmas party in London tomorrow and I'm really nervous about going because I'm so ridiculously socially awkward, so if you're going leave a comment or tweet me and please come say hi, I don't bite!

Regal Rose Haul

Quartz Necklace // Regal Rose £17

As soon as Regal Rose released this necklace I knew I had to have it!  At the time my friend wanted to buy me a birthday present and this was under £20 so within her budget, so she ordered it to deliver to my house, little did I know my mum had already bought it for me! Literally what are the odds?! Luckily though Regal Rose were really understanding and offered me an exchange or refund, but that's irrelevant LOOK AT HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS.  I've been needing a new necklace for a while as I don't really have a 'throw on' long necklace that I really like that much, so this was absolutely perfect, Regal Rose also do a ton more gorgeous stuff so definitely check out the store here!

I did have a bit of trouble styling this dress, not gonna lie.  I'm not really used to wearing dresses that much, let alone fancy prom dresses! I think it works with the blazer because it adds a casual touch rather than being totally posh, and more of a retro feel, which obviously contrasts with my pink hair, haha!
