If you follow my Instagram you may have seen my magnificent new hair by Not Another Salon - a big change for me as I've been just pink for like 3 years, but a change was so much fun - see my transformation journey after the jump!

Wella Trendvision 2013

If you're a follower of my Instagram or Twitter you'll know that not so long ago I did some hair modelling on the Wella Trendvision tour with Marc Antoni.  My 'trend' was called Fusion and it was a classic east meets west look, with oriental elegance inspired by Geishas.  I had an amazing time and found some photos from the shows recently and just thought I'd share them with you guys!

My Pink Hair Routine & Care Video

 I get so many questions about my hair that I made a video answering all of them! Trendvision Video Diary // Day in the life of a hair model

So it's taken me a little while but I have finally been able to edit and upload my Wella Trendvision video diary, or alternatively; A day (or three) in the life of a hair model! I think the latter sounds like I'm pretty up myself, but I asked the question on my twitter and blog about whether I should make a video and the overall response was yes, so here it is!

Two posts in one day, you lucky people!! So I was over the moon that I got my Glamorous bat tee, I got home from Bedford just as the postman had been and I was pretty bummed, until I saw the delivery van leaving so naturally I had to chase after it, and luckily got it! I also looove this necklace, I bought it after seeing a post on Robyn's blog [link] where she featured it and it was under a fiver so totally worth it in my opinion.  This is also the first outfit post featuring my Jeffrey Campbells, exciting!

So if you have read in my previous post(s) or seen it all over my instagram you'll know I was at Salon International last weekend. I was the avant garde model for the Fellowship F.A.M.E Team and was put up in a hotel for 3 days with free breakfast and lunch, and got paid too!  My hairdresser, Ryan Harris is from the Angels salon in Aberdeen and was so lovely, literally fell in love with his scottish accent!  I had to get up at 5:30am every morning to have my hair prepped, which was having a shitload of product put into it, then it was curled with thin tongs to create tiny ringlets and that was clipped and left so that I could get my makeup done at 8 then have buffet breakfast (woo!) then when we got backstage I had my hair brushed out and backcombed so it was huuuuuge!  It was flat on the top and then would explode into a big candyflossy afro which was pretty fun!  I had an amazing time and hope to go again next year!

If you follow me on instagram you'll know I recently had my hair dyed pink professionally.  I've attempted it in the past at home but my hair is just too thick and I need more than 3 bottles to cover everything!  I went to Marc Antoni and despite asking for pastel pink hair they gave me ridiculously bright hot pink hair, but I didn't really mind as I knew it would wash out.  I'm really happy with how it turned out and I've had so many compliments on it, especially from the french people when I was out as it was only a small town so will have been quite a rare sight! What do you think about bright hair? Would you try it?

ps; apologies for the average quality instagram pictures, they're the only pictures I have of my pink hair!
