Hollow Men

This has got to be my new favourite song. Yeah I'm into all of the metal music etc. but you can't go wrong with a good, chilled acoustic song. My good friend Louis recorded this with his friend Olivia, who's an incredible singer, and I urge you to give it a listen, the sound is real soft and perfect for a sleepy playlist (or is it just me that has one of those?!). Louis is also the lead guitarist for the band Goodnight Vienna, an extremely talented and genuine guy so he deserves to do well out of all this, so please, take two minutes and thirty seven seconds out of your day to listen to this, I can assure you it'll be worth it!

Today hasn't been too bad.  Presentwise it's been awesome, but familywise not so much.  My mum and stepdad aren't good and the day was reflected by this.  Mum went to bed at like 5 and everyone was apart on the day where you're supposed to be a strong family unit, playing games and watching movies etc.  Anyway I'll stop being a downer! We dressed my baby bro in a little santa outfit and went to the ice rink and Christmas dinner was incredible. I've now got Christmas at my dads house to look forward to on the 29th and I had Christmas with my grandparents last week, and actually have some pictures of that to put up, so expect many pictures very soon!

At the moment I'm watching Danisnotonfire and Amazing Phil on the Radio 1 website and they are so funny! I love their videos so a 2 hour show featuring them is a dream come true, they also interview Oli Sykes, ahhh! If you're online now I strongly recommend clicking here and watching/listening to them!

Here's to the past

As promised, here are some of the photos from the photoshoot I did with my friend Polly.  A lot of the pictures didn't turn out too great as it was a pretty rushed shoot, so she does look a little like a kid dressed up for halloween as the lighting wasn't that great but I created some good images in the end that I'm happy with! It's pretty late but I wanted to show you some pictures of my new phone! I got it for my birthday in October and I loooove it.  It's a 64GB iPhone 4S so it has Siri and everything that's fun to play with, but the battery life is pretty appauling, doesn't even last a day which is annoying, but it's worth it for how fast it is!  I could never go back to anything other than an iPhone!

I'm sooooo glad that the holidays are finally here!  College has been putting so much pressure on me lately so this break is much needed, although I do still have a ton of work I need to do.  However, this break does mean that I'll be able to post more frequently *yay* so look forward to that! I'm going to Manchester for an early Christmas with my grandparents tomorrow until Thursday so wish me luck as the weather there is apparently absolutely freezing!
